Personally I love it! But I had to get my oem mufflers back on so I have valves. Soon I’ll be getting either gthaus or Kline.

Start with Vibrant mufflers. 100%of the rasp will be gone with little to no drone anywhere. But if there is, or it's too loud still, slap on some Vibrant Resonators. Stay above 2.5 inches in diameter and it'll have an amazing bassy angry Cratos scream outside that somehow vibrant made it so you can't hear it inside. Inside it will sound almost stock with the windows up, but like Ivan Moody pissed off when you roll them down.

Is this with the stock mufflers ?

Looking forward to buy the awe non res DP. I have the ECS Xpipe as well so I would be same as you in terms of exhaust. DP and Xpipe. Do you have any tune? If yes any gains with current setup? Looking at the k&n filters to match everything to have some light performance upgrades before I start with the esthetics.

Right now I have no other mods. I will be getting the K&N filters as well. If I were you I’d get the jhm stage 2 tune.

U know its fucking loud when it peaks the mic like that lol. Btw how is the experience of cruising at highway speeds is the drone bad? My car has oem cats with the awe catback track exhaust sounds great but there is always room for more

Do you have the rear mufflers off in this video aswell? Or is it just downpipes and res delete?

This was when she was fully straight piped, so no rear mufflers just pipes 🤣

Sounds so good man! So dumb question but I'm not familiar with the 4.2 V8 Exhaust setup (I have a B8.5 S5 but looking at an RS5) does the AWE downpipes go before the x pipe section or do the downpipes replace where the x pipe would be?

Yes it does so after your manifold goes the downpipes then the x pipe and last but not least your mufflers aka rear section

@@lightning_rs5_mcqueen209 sweet! So I’ll actually be picking up an RS5 finally (after finding my dream spec) and the car currently has an ECS xpipe with rear mufflers deleted. My plan I think is to put in non resonated downpipes and put stock mufflers back on. After watching more recent videos from you...That’s your current setup now right? If so how’s the drive-ability in terms of drone and overall loudness at highway speeds?

I recent installed the ESC X-pipe but I find it isn’t enough. If you keep the rear mufflers and go with the non-res down pipe and X pipe, do the valves still work? Thanks

Awe non resonated downpipes, ecs x pipe and muffler delete on the back boxes. I wouldn’t recommend this at all tbh because you won’t have valves in cold start or while driving and it drones a bit. I’d get a full GT haus exhaust. Much louder more fun amazing cold starts and has valves.

You from Mass? Got my valvetronic straightthru mufflers and x pipe..about to weld it in when I find the time. This sorta has me concerned now lol.

Nope it’s fine now it was just having the pipes for mufflers that made it to loud.

@@fernocho6288 it doesn’t drone surprisingly. That’s with my current set up! Which is Non res awe downpipes and ecs x pipe w/stock mufflers. Now the set up in this video droned a bit more than I would’ve liked for it to which kinda sucked but it’s is what it is.

That’ don’t sounds good at all. It need to loud but Pleasant at the same time Music to the ear, that sounds like a annoying wife screaming at you when you come from work tired. I love the Rs5 is perfect car for the person that is a animal and a monster but know how to stay in control. Thanks for the video.

I have them back on my car now. Only because this set up was fun! But it was just way to damn loud for no valves. I took the pipes off and put my oem mufflers back on. I’ll either be getting Kline rear section or GThause idk yet?
