As the discs were due for replacement I took the opportunity to upgrade the brakes on my #AudiRS3 using #vagbremtechnic parts. I'm really happy with the brakes so far and I think they look mega!

Another great vid. I wouldn't normally have the patience to watch 11 minutes about brake discs but you always manage to make stuff interesting, cheers!!

Great Video!! Just wondered what size discs you have on? The can only see 340x30mm ones online, Also did you manage to get a wear sensor for the Ferodo Pads?

Did you get a wear sensor with your pads, I have just purchased 8x DS2500 without the sensor, will I have a light on the dash without having a sensor?

Nice to see you opted for the Michelins, they will also have helped with the braking feel on the car. Does yours have the mag ride? If it does i wouldn’t lower it, it sits right as it is 👍🏻

Hey mate, firstly great video as always, been watching your content for a while now and you’ve inspired me to start a channel orientated around my car. Wondering, how do you merge all your clips together (specific software/video maker etc). Apologies for my lack of knowledge surrounding video making but I figured everyone starts out somewhere right? But yeah, great video mate and the new breaks look fantastic!

Thanks for watching Jamie! I use Adobe Premiere which can be a bit daunting at first glance and it does take some getting use to. If you have a Mac, iMovie is a good option, it's free and easy to use.

Mr Daniel Knight yeah I’ve got a MacBook so I might just use that! Thanks for the reply and keep up the good work. Also, I’m going to get a rs3 in May, wondering, if you could give one piece of advice on owning one, what would it be?

Did you bed the brakes in? Fyi in Australia the DS2500 is considered a bit out of date, with better options available from brands like Forza, Remsa. Also consider yokohama ad08r. Epic grip for track work. Street legal. Any tc issues ruining 235 fronts? This car is very sensitive to roiling diameter. There is a tc software update from Audi to fix this (for anyone getting unwanted tc intervention).

Pleased you went for the 4S's. Great tyre. Brake upgrade looks really good. What was the cost of that? Personally I wouldn't lower it. It's looks squat as it is. Might just make the ride more crashy, and once loaded with 4 people or luggage, it might catch the arches .

Good point. Although I rarely drive people around in my car these days. Thinking on it more, I'm going to leave the car as is. A lot of my current commute is country lanes and I'm not sure that lowering it would be wise! The brakes cost around £1200 in parts.

I think the car sits fine as it is Daniel i wouldn't mess with the ride height . Have you seen the video of the next generation A3/S3 yet ? what are your thoughts ?

I have seen the video and I'm not sure on the exterior. It looks like my car has gained some weight! I'm sure they'll look better in person and without the livery.

Hi, did you have any traction control issues with the 235s on the front, mine also has the wider wheels on the front and when I fitted 255s I get the traction control light flashing now and again for no reason

  • @mrdanielknight

Hey mate, as my car has had some work done to it, I drive it with the ESC in Sport so haven't noticed any major traction issues. However, I do know that 255 Michelins are a different rolling radius than the 255 Pirellis so that might be causing an issue. Depending on how long you've been running the tyres, I would also recommend having the Haldex checked for any faults

@@mrdanielknight Hi, thanks for that, I think I'm going to try the 235s next time to see if that balances up the rolling radius. I found the Michelins transformed the handling and turn in, the best mod anyone can do is ditch the Pirelli tyres they fit as standard.
