It's hard to tell which is better between this and taycan. Both look stunning, but I gotta give it to the Taycan. That thin rear light bar just completes the look perfectly

Not a big fan of EVs whatsoever but this and Taycan are the only EVs I'd consider buying if I had the money and wanted an EV.

@@beanapprentice1687 Tesla out here selling 150k cars that start to rust and fall apart on the lot. Just because something expensive, doesnt mean its good. In this case however, Audi/Porsche made a great car.

@@roarbahamut9866 I’ve never seen a Tesla with rust. And I live in a place where cars rust easily. Of course, body panel alignment is a whole other story…

I do appreciate the EV’s. This is the dream. Recently took a Q4 Etron from NL to Hannover, just 1 stop required pushing at top speed. But the charging stations in Germany is still very bad. Even 100-120km between stations and sometimes you have to get off the Autobahn to fast charge.

From my experience it‘s not the lack of chargers in general. But Germany is plastered with useless 22KW AC chargers. They need to invest in a better CCS infrastructure.

I just think having your average joe piloting a 2.3 tonne rocketship that goes to 60mph in 3 seconds is going to lead to some horrific accidents.. These accellerate faster than either the pilot, or the surroundings can react to it. And the weight of it means when it goes wrong... it goes horribly wrong. That means they will inevitably have to come equipped with even more safety features, putting them well outside of the pricerange of 95% of the population. This tech just isn't it. Maybe it'll be better once they have a different powersource. Like a much much lighter battery, or hydrogen.

Yes they are. The complete oil based infrastructure is going to disappear. Not only because oil and gas will run out, but also because the cost per unit will rise faster and faster when resources go down and less and less people use them, untill nobody can afford it anymore. So you'd better get accustomed to the idea. And by the way: fast EV's are MUCH better to drive.

my uncle just bought one! needless to say that thing is badass…

I like teaching the electrics on the motorway. Have noticed they tend to be dropped around 110mph, but that may be the drivers rather than cars. Equally may be the weight.

I really like the way this car looks. Much more interesting than the Taycan. In my opinion, this is the most beautiful modern sedan. Seeing her live is a pleasure every time. Very low and very wide, just what modern cars lack. EDIT: Maybe the wheels is only mess.

"affordable" is a big word for a 150k+ car lol

My boss has one if these, and he had massive problems with it. First the battery broke down at 12.000 kms. Then later on the heat stopped working and also fast charging. Tomorrow i have to go with it to Germany to relieve another bus driver of duty and he told us to take that car and if we crash it we had to make sure it was total loss 😂 I kinda like the car, i have driven a few times with it, it is comfy, but then again i am only 1m70 and my boss is almost 2m tall.

In those kind of videos I would love to see how much the range drop in 2 minutes driving at autobahn speed.

All your videos on fast / super cars are awesome. But the POV review , especially when you comment about the cars' bumpers/ wheels/ BBKs while squatting down, the POV is actually too high up and not leveled at your eye level hence the experience of viewers are not synonymous with what you're actually viewing with the real car. Nonetheless, enjoyed all your videos and keep up the good work for those autobahn baaalaaast.

Really? I would love to know why because personally id take a Taycan any day of the week.

EV is great, Audi is ❤️, but charging 🙈 22 minutes if and when it all goes well… which is not always the case :/

I´m wondering if you could increase the VMax with an ECU Remap. I like Audi, i would buy the Taycan but i don´t have the money either way. The higher price for the Taycan is just not worth it for the tiny increase in performance that you get. I really like the Design of the e-tron GT. But for cheap money the new 2024 Tesla Model 3 is a serious contender. The design got much better and is now more modern. Increased quality in the interior, new lights in the front, new back and so on.

Its just an EV obviously, but it looks pretty good. Pretty unusual.

This looks better than the Taycan, but I'd still buy the latter, because I don't support Audi for killing the R8 (in my eyes, turning it into just another EV is the same as killing it completely).

I like EV's although I have not transitioned to one yet. The E-Tron looks good but I just don't like black wheels and black trim all over. Thanks for including EV's in your autobahn reviews.

Yeah this car just costed a whole shift at Audi. 600 people fired. Instead of two shifts for this production car now down to one and possibly more people to be fired.

I think it's a great car. I don't really mind electric cars that much. I just don't want to see petrol and diesel cars go

I don't understand why people say that combustion engine is going away, because companies are still making combustion engine cars, right? The g87 m2 etc...? Also, atleast where I live in england, the infrastructure isn't remotely close to being usable, the nearest charging station is 30 mins away and I live next to a city. Also range seems to be a big issue too in most ev's. Surely combustion engine cars have got atleast another decade in them? And if combustion is still so high in demand, the only reason I could see that companies would completely stop making combustion engine cars is that governments push laws that makes them have to make electric cars. Please tell me why I'm wrong!
