I replaced the same part on my 2012 A7 because it would blow cool for a few minutes, then off. This was the problem, 100% fixed - blowing cold for 3 months now.
I wish the Q7 had the switch located in such an easy to reach spot.
Wow your awesome bro saved me hundreds and hundreds dollars
What is the difference between low- and high pressure switch? I got 3-pin connectors on both mines. One on the thinner line and one on the thicker line. How can i diagnose them? My guess is that i have a intermitent problem with the high pressure switch since the compressor clutch doesnt engage and the condenser/engine fan starts up and stops after 5 seconds.. and doing that over and over again. The fan works great otherwise in hot weather.
Hey I tried this and when I went to unscrew the sensor Freon started coming out so I quickly closed it why did this happen?
Wow thanks! I’d feel crazy paying someone to change that now
Do you have the parts number for the o-ring?
hi, will this part work for a 2009 audi q5?
Could this also be for high pressure
What O ring do I need for it?
I replaced mine and it still dosent work, any suggestions
Does it blow hot before you fix it ?
Thanks!!!
I have to try this my Machanic changed the blower because my ac vent were blowing weak. Still same is after the change. Then he recommended changing the evaporator 🤨
there was gas when you removed it when i did that? was it the same for you too? :)
what are the symptoms?
Did you have a check engine light on for this at all? I'm having the same issue on a 2011 S5 but no check engine light at all.

@@Joelguy41 I did replace it actually. Very easy and quick. Fixed the issue
I think where they put that sensor, it’s get too hot for the sensor. So it screw it up
I changed to new switch, but the A/C light stopped working, do I need to refill my refrigerant?

I’m assuming you emptied to gas before replacement?

No why would he do that? The gas won't release its got a pressure gauge

Spring loaded non return under the sensor so no need.
$1,600 dealer was charged me to replace this, no thank you, I’ll just need the part $146.
How come the gas hasn't leaked out when taking sensor off

there is a shrader valve under the senser that you unscrew, it closes when you take the sensor off
Ive just had a quote from Audi Sheffield in the UK to replace it on my A8 3.0tdi the price was £550.00p i orderd a audi a/c sensor from a parts supplier for £40.80p and 1 hour of.my time as its under the engine .
I’ve got quoted $400 to fix this part… cost me $85 in diagnostic however because I wasn’t getting that engine code.
