Audi Q3 2014 review - Car Keys

MotorTorque's Rachel Burgess has video reviewed the Audi Q3, in its 2.0-litre 175bhp guise, to see how it compares to rivals such as the BMW X1.
The top-of-the-range S line trim, as tested, gets the full body-colour treatment and some other sporty edges like 18-inch alloys and xenon headlamps.
The raised ride height will be big draw for a huge number of buyers, who will be far more interested in this than its SUV capabilities.
This Q3 is fitted with Audi's S-tronic twin clutch transmission, which changes up and down the seven gears swiftly and smoothly, making it easy for overtaking or cruising in 7th on motorways.
Audi's steering is often on the artificial side, and the Q3 is no exception -- the BMW X1 is more dynamic on this front, which makes the Q3 less engaging, but won't bother most owners.
Audi continues to do what it does well. There's nothing revolutionary or particularly exciting about the Q3, but it will keep plenty of people happy, offering comfort and enjoyable driving in a compact crossover package.
