Any advice on what resontor or vavled mufflers to get for a 2018 Audi b9 a4? looking to have the sound with no drone like this but not a crazy loud cold start.I have a 200 cell high flow cat on the car now with factory exhaust.

I got mine from JM Tuning in the Netherlands. The have really nice valved mufflers aswell as an no drone resonator

So the catalyst is better to be down after the down pipe or better in Factory place and then the down pipe?

Performance wise it is not better I guess but space wise it is. Als you keep the heat away from the engine bay. It is important to place the oxygin sensor after the cat

@@jtscustomsNL I asked cause I saw for example that APR kit is everything like in the factory place.so didn’t know what is better to avoid the bottleneck…

@@user-yb4vi6vj1k APR has some really nice parts, if you can and want to pay more I would go with a APR exhaust or milltek

@@jtscustomsNL yes I think for Apr but I see that you put the catalyst after down pipe away from turbo instead their kit that goes in position after turbo like the factory one

I had to put in a no drone resonator because with out it it would make a low frequent noise in the cabin that would give me a headache. The resonator cancels those lower sound waves that create drone.

@@user-yb4vi6vj1k I installed a single resonator after the catalysator and after that comes the no drone resonator. After that it is 2 straight pipes to the rear

heb je de automaat of handbak? ik wil een automaat halen maar hoop dat degene uit 2009 wel dsg fart geluid maakt hahah

Ik heb de handbak, ik weet helaas niet hoe de automaat versie klinkt. Die DSG fart sound moet voor zo ver ik weet ook software matig ingeprogrammeerd worden.

Would this be the same as a UK car?

I would say yes, only thing I could think of what could be different is the steering rack but that should not be a problem. The rest of the car is the same.

Het was eerst een mix van de standaard uitlaat met stukken vervangend RVS buis om dempers weg te halen.

What was done originally to get it sounding like it was

We removed 1 resonator and removed the cat. We also made a video of that!😊

Haha there is a big differance between loud and noisy :P the exhaust waaayyyy to noisy/drone, I could barly drive it as it gave me a headache. The extra muffler did not really make it any more quiet but it did remove the drone😁😁
