Audi A5 3.0 Quattro TDI Special Edition owners review @audi

This is my honest review of the my Audi A5 I have owned for just over a year now and replaced my Mercedes c250 Coupe. Just to note I mention in the video that the special edition comes with black trim like mine but it doesn't that is the Black Edition. Sorry it has taken me so long to do this, but hopefully you will find it useful. Please feel free to as any questions in the comments below and I shall do my best to answer you.

    Definitely the engine to get, returns good MPG, hugely reliable, loads of power and torque (500nm), and the interior quality really holds up to modern standards.

Don't do much in miles per year, is your engine size ok for short journeys? though I understand would have to for a long trip every so often.

    Hi, yes its a bit strange but is seems that for this particular year "Special" from what I can see means that it has the rotary style wheels and all silver trim has been removed. The Black edition the only difference I could see was the alloys are different, but apart from that I really dont know what else you get. You will love the car its so nice to drive and very well built. When I change mine I will be getting another.

I cant recommend this car enough mate, its very high quality and amazing to drive. I have owned a number of high end cars and this by far is my most favourite. Put it this way, when i change this car is is very likely to be another A5! Feel free to ask any other questions mate happy to answer good luck with your purchase :o)

  • @markshonestreviewsandhealt6953

    @markshonestreviewsandhealt6953

    5 жыл бұрын

    Hi Marius thanks for the question. In regards to rear space I think the Audi has slightly more. Dont get me wrong neither of these cars are great for long journeys for rear passengers especially if you have kids as the windows are very small and with them being blacked out makes the rear very dark. In terms of boot space the audi again is slightly bigger but not by much. I am now on my 2nd Audi A5 I have the newer model which I will do a review on shortly. Owned it for about a year now, so I guess that answers your question - I love the Audi! The Quattro is what makes a huge difference, but I also think the build quality isd better. The Merc is more fancy looking inside, but I just prefer the simple layout and function of the Audi. Hope this helps you my friend any other questions just ask.

    Cheers for the quick reply mate. Very good reviews by the way.I do like both cars, and i think that both of them might be slightly bigger than my Alfa romeo GT Cloverleaf I'm driving at the moment.I'm just looking to move to a bigger engine. Anyway, I have a Passat as a second car, so when space is really needed that will do it. No kids at the moment, so I try to enjoy this kind of cars while I still can 😁

    Ahh thanks Tom I am really glad it helps you. These are lovely to drive mate you feel very safe and confident in bad weather which was why I bought it. I have had about 4 different Mercs and yes they are lovely to drive and great for cruising in with very high comfort levels, but you cant beat the quattro system. I will never go back to a 2 wheel drive car. I am the complete opposite to you mate I am very short 5.5 so i have plenty of room. If I was you I would go and sit in one at the showroom as the cabin hasnt changed much since the 2012 model and the size is exactly the same. Go and see how you feel especially if you are buying a manual. The reason I say that is as mine is auto I can sit further away from the pedals as I only need my right foot for break and accelerator but when I have been in a manual I have to sit much closer as the clutch bite need more leg room if that makes sense. Other than that I cant recommend these guys enough. Mine has just hit 91,000 and its as tight as a drum, no squeaks, rattles or lose parts. If you have any more questions feel free to ask :o)
