Another great video. Love your straight forward delivery. Totally agree with your reasons for opting for A3 saloon. Rarer and just has a more grown up classy look but Sportback is still an eye catcher- just much more of them about. Personally think the Daytona grey really suits the saloon but does look almost as good in red with black accents. Did make me have second thoughts with your previous issues with Audi over seats but glad you have resolution. When will these huge multinational companies realise a loyal customer base needs to be treated with fairness and respect! These cars are huge investments and NEVER more in these current times. Keep up great work.

@@CRD90 went for the 35 tfsi s tronic s line. Daytone grey. More or less the same you have! Went for the panoramic roof, cockpit plus, infotainment plus, some drive assists, etc. Remember when I asked you why they use the old steering wheel? We found out that ik order to get the new steeringwheel, you have to purchase the adaptive cruise control assist.. it comes with the new steering wheel. I choose it...glad we asked the product Manager of audi.

@@CRD90 actually that's what I am told. For the acc assist you need sensors that detect if your hands are on the wheel. The old steering wheel doesn't have that.

Super video matey, love the comedy angle too, it made me chuckle ! Seriously, though I am a huge Sportback man myself had 3 of them so far and will get a new version hopefully in the new year. Reason being I am constantly surprised how much I can get in the boot with the back seats down. I should be a pipe and slippers man and have the Saloon and was tempted but love the Sportback versatile TBH, love the Tango Red but am thinking Navarro Blue this time to replace my lovely Daytona Grey.

I agree a hatchback will be more useful especially for airport trips or IKEA flatpack :) Go for the Daytona blue, I really like it and saw a hatchback S3 in it recently. The silver trim actually complements the dark blue if you're going for the s-line

I definitely will go with Sportback. I have a Toyota Yaris and although it has very small trunk I carried Ikea furnitures so many times with dropping the seats.

This is the best comparison I have watched on yt Congratulations 🤟🔥🤟. I do not know wich kind of the S3 I should buy. However taking into consideration your experiences with Audi as well as worse and worse quality that manufacturers offer I am thinking to stay with my current A4 quattro torsen 2016 (252HP) as the second option. My son wants to stay with old Audi and he considers it as far better car then S3. I do not know what to do and your advise would help me. Best wishes from me and my Polish friends. I went for the S3, actually I had a lot od shares in Ford, and though never owned a Ford, loved my Audi S4, sort of forced to sell it, so bought a new S3 when I could. I love it, but as you have mentioned in the videos, it is so much poorer than the older S4 2015. Luckily I do not need to drive much these days as I had to in the S4 (2800 in 4 days monthly) now mostly working from home so about 160 miles a week. I really love it. Really an A3 would have been good, but I got such a good price (haggled a lot) Think I made the correct choice

Picked up my A3 Edition Saloon (Mythos Black) a couple of weeks ago and I before I bought I spent a fair bit of time pondering over the Saloon or Sportback options. In the end Im more than happy with the Saloon as I just think it looks more sleeker and stylish.

getting a saloon on march 1st, the edition 1 as well. it will be my smallest ever car too, currently in an x6 40d so its quite the difference in size!

@@CRD90 hey yeah I subscribed thanks. Perhaps you can answer this, on the edition 1 trim is the reverse camera standard? Getting conflicting info about that. I don't have any options other than it being the edition 1 version obviously so whatever is standard with that which is a lot it seems

@@lawsie69 thanks for that buddy. Unfortunately no you require the comfort and sound pack for the reverse camera and also to get front parking sensors (I know right in this day and age...) I posted a full video on it just over a week ago, I'd honestly say if it's not too late to add it in. Go for it as it's quite a lot of extra function for £995

Great to see a tango red sportback in person. Can't wait to get mine, definitely want to dechrome it though seeing this today 👍

Also I noted the 35tfsi is back up on the website now and correctly has electric seats on the configurator so yours should be all good fingers crossed :)

Nice review. I'm a Sportback fan myself. Sedan always been less common for sure but it's what is nice about them. The 8V Sedan also has more options styling wise with even an off shelf wide body kit which cannot be found for the 8V Sportback.

@@CRD90 Nice. 8V all the way for me, main thing that bug me is the new 8Y front bumper. Remind me of some of the recent Hyundai bumpers. Headlights shape and too many screens. And 310PS... same as the pre filter 8V, 2016-2018, was also a disappointment after they announced 330. Looking forward to see your comparison video though :)

Finally got mine ordered, delivery est March 22nd, got a black saloon edition 1 2.0tdi, can't wait lol

It's quite a big difference from the previous shape. @@ramananraj4891 lol I honestly feel the a4 is a bit lost, it made sense when the a3 had no saloon version. But there is hardly any size advantage between the a3 saloon and the a4, and I feel the a3 is more stylish and modern that's why we went for it in the end. They also seem to hold value a bit stronger than a4 (when we looked into 4/5 year old versions)

I prefer the Saloon, while the wife prefer the Sportback. I tell her you decided on the kitchen, so I'm picking the car. So I ordered a black A3 Edition one Saloon delivery is in 3 weeks 4 days, but whose counting... Funny video. Love the colour Red on Hatchback...I am swapping my VW Golf GTD 184 MK 7.5. I could be making a big mistake here, time will tell I guess.

Yeah you can use the paddle shifters when you want a bit of fun :) and that holds it in gear for longer

Love that Tango red sit on the car against the glass black parts of the car. I'm looking to order one in the Navarra blue, but that red keeps making me question my judgement! Would have also loved to see both in Arrow Grey but Audi have told me they don't do the A3 in that colour (unless I pay 3k for exclusive paint). Good video but now I'm going to have to re-think my colour choice 🤦‍♂️🤣👍

Haha thanks for watching bud, hope you've subscribed for more feature content. I was actually tempted by the Navara blue too but felt the look and shade changed depending on the lighting conditions. It also masked the black accents as it is already a dark colour. Maurizio's tango red was the first one I saw in person and I have to say it looked gorgeous!

@@CRD90 This COVID carry on is a bit of a nightmare with not being able to see cars in the flesh. I've only seen the blue on the configurator and a few videos on here but I'm still not 100% plus, the last red car I had was a brand new Mazda RX-8 which got written off by a taxi on the same day I collected it! Naturally, I'm a bit nervy about getting another car in that colour ha!

That saloon boot space looks like it would easily accommodate a pram. Have you guys tested that?

@@CRD90 thanks a lot. Really love this car rather than the sportback. Been trying to find dimensions of the interior of the boot. Everywhere mentions litres but that doesn't help lol. Prams fold down pretty compact so I reckon would fit but best to be sure. Loving the content anyway, keep it up :)

Hi Jordan, thanks for watching - hope you'll consider subscribing to help support our growth. Honestly, it comes down to the size of your family. If it's little kids and you'll need to carry prams and fisher price toys! then the sportback is probably a bit more convenient as you can remove the parcel shelf. But if they do not need pram space then I'd say the saloon, for rear passengers it offers more viewable window space which I know kids (and adults) like. Personally I feel the saloon is more "grown up" and family friendly.

What about the back windshiel

The saloon more beautiful car

I can understand why people would buy a hatchback but I prefer saloon design wise. Hatchbacks look more like toy cars whereas saloons look like proper cars

The sportback is just so much better looking, the saloon is boring to look at. If I wanted a hatchback I'd take an A3 or S3, if I wanted a saloon you'd just buy an M2 coupe
