I love the interior of the A3! Its minimalistic, modern and very nice build! Definitely the best in the class.

My friend bought one of these recently, and it is a great car. The quality is simply incredible for a hatchback. Audi has really gone all out on their new models.

I love halogen lights they make cars look cheap

The BMW 1-series is more expensive for anything with the same sort of performance and it's significantly heavier (RWD means a propshaft and big rear diff). Also, BMWs are notoriously hopeless in snow unless you have proper winter tyres. This does look a lot better than the previous model, especially at the back. The main problem with an A3 is that it's become the default junior management company car. Avoid a black or white diesel model if you want yours to stand out from all of those.

look at those air vents they look great and i will buy this car for its interior its so much classier than the others, infact its the best interior audi makes and its class because its so futuristic

I really don't get this criticism that it's too similar to the older model - it's not difficult at all to see the differences and updates made to the design. New headlights, new grille, new rear lights, new A4 style wings... why is none of that mentioned?

I wish when they tried to say how fun it is they would compare it to a FWD like the golf or Seat Leon, instead of a RWD. A RWD is always going to be more fun so wouldn't it be better to compare it against a car that is more similar?

I think the BMW is fantastic. Not for the looks, but for the driving experience, because of the real wheel drive and the better steering and sport driving setup. Although the new A3 looks absolutely amazing.

I prefer the exterior of the 1 Series but even as a purely BMW man, I prefer in interior of the A3, if you could have both it would be the perfect premium hatch!

I think this is a succesful design actually, the point of the a3 is to be understated yet posh. most buyers are probably adults or daft students lol.. best a3 yet at least.

i think it doesn't look vastly different because unlike some manufacturers Audi's styling isn't so controversial. It's good-looking and distinct, so no need to change

I knew it was one of those two french engines but could'nt remember which. So not a complete mistake on my part. Anyhow Renault make good engines as has been tried and tested over the worlds finest race tracks as i'm sure we all know. It was just a comment relating to the vehicle, I never said it was bad, but I knew there was a 'French Connection'.

It's ok... but in my opinion things like the seats and plastic dash really let it down compared to the new A-class.

The "old" technology from Fiat hasn't the same problems included that VW has. TSI clogging the valves, EGR and turbo, chain cam breaking and so the "great" DSG. *If* the technology worked in real life, they would rule, but as it is now old-school technology wins hands down.

I wonder if another badge on the front would make one think the other way? Not trying to offend btw. How can this amazing quality be experienced? The smell of the plastic? ;) I think it's more about what we feel about a brand and Audi (and why not VW) has done really well in marketing the products, hats off for that! But there really isn't any superior quality to be found....

Make sure you check the all new Volvo V40 and V40 cross-country and the you will forget about all the Mercedes Audi, VW etc. Enjoy

You've heard of something like minimalism? This is a very "premium" and interior quality in the new A3 is the best in class. If you like strange, kitschy interior design so go with the French brands...
