I wish I would have rebuilt the original carb on my grizzly. I just went and bought a cheap $35 carb on Amazon and it’s lasted a couple months and the float sticking or something. Doing exactly what yours is doing.

I just got a 2000 Grizzly 600 that was neighbour next to the sea... Everything on this quad was a rust bucket... Every single nut and bolt exposed to the elements where badly rusted... I had to Dremel cut almost everything to get to the carburetor and even on the carburetor... What a mess....

my carb was leaking from the overflow tube. i cleaned carb and replaced all jets (repair kit). Now when i test the new needle valve, it does NOT pass air. when using an air compressor (fuel inlet) it does BUT it blows out of the whole valve from sit. My question is, does the small pin in the valve suppose to pass the air and stop when compressed?

whats the part number for that rebuild kit?

My favorite way to get those 4 screws out is a dewalt impact. Works way better way easier and ofcourse faster

Float bowl screws get replaced with Allen head screw's for easier disassembly on the trail So my easier that those Philips heads

does the kit come with the o ring on the float?

How do you adjust the float on this carb? My carb leak fuel all the time. now the atv backfires badly when i start it (it will not run). got the carb out but looking for the float adjustment

Sean u gotta bend the little tab down and it’s backfiring because gas got in the top cylinder and fouled out the spark plug so buy a new spark plug and these carbs are so cheap I’d just buy a new one off amazon for 50$-70$ worth doing that just to have a brand new one! Good luck

I see these carburetors for about $40. Is it really worth the rebuild or are these replacement carburetors ok?. I even found one on Wal-Mart. Com for $37.00.

Bear Bridges a factory carb from yamaha is 400 canadian.. so i bought one off amazon.. cant get the needle and seat to stop leaking cheap junk

@@connorwilson8696 I got a new one for $29. I also got a rebuild kit for the old original carb. Now I have the Yamaha carb as a spare for when Chinese carb fails. It's about a month out and doing great so far.

Carb is 40$

Whole new carburetor is like $50 on Amazon.
