All excellent tips and spot on. You can't pass if you're following, and if you ARE faster than the guy in front of you and you follow too long, you WILL adapt to his speed and not be able to pass. It definitely is a mental game. Here's a trick I used to do. It's not dirty racing, but when I come up on a slower rider and he's doing a good job of blocking, I'll start yelling at him "LET'S GOOOO!!!". It tends to break their concentration, then you can find a place to pass. Another tip is on the starts visualize multiple lines on where you are going to go if you holeshot, or there's a pile up. Have an alternate route planned out. Good job Chris.

Good video. A lot of people don’t know about the head games. The finish is out front, not in the back. Only time to look back is when you hear, MOVE! I love it when I see dust, then I see the rider look back. Love eat’m them up!

Thanks for the tips! I had bad arm pump half way in the first lap on my first xc race yesterday 😂 I’ll be buying flex bars now.

If you had to choose between a stabilizer or flexx bars to reduce fatigue, which one would be the best choice?

What type of riding? Flex bars are a little cheaper than a high dollar stabilizer

I would go with a set of flex bars. I think it helps with arm pump and hard landing

@Dirt Church Racing You'll have a whole niche to yourself. In the dirt bike community it's a plethora of videos on motocross ride lessons, group and private. You look up atv there's nobody putting that content out. Pro dirt bikers giving back to their community teaching how to whip, giving lessons, doing clinics. Look up a pro atv racer and it's highlights of a race.

Ya I am doing this to try to build something to give back to the sport of atv racing. And I do like to help others. I don’t have all the answers but I love the feed back from others, it helps me out.
