They highlighted her home purchase in Florida and never indicated that it was the money she invested in her retirement fund. She was killing it in Baltimore! I was a student at Morgan State at the time and I remember her as a State Attorney who was extremely fearless. She knew and understood what Officers in Baltimore were doing such as planting guns and drugs on victims. She was very strategic and instrumental in the decriminalization of African Americans in Baltimore. I just signed the petition.

Did she claim a hardship for financial reasons or not... even though her salary never decreased.... Even though she never lost her job. And then turned around and bought a house with the money??... because she was allowed to make a withdrawal without a penalty for financial hardships, not to purchase a vacation home. By the way, her salary was $248,000. She was also convicted for lying on the mortgage application. She stated that she did not have any liens on any properties. Even though she had a 45,000 tax lien. This is strange to me because if she makes that much money, why did she not pay the $45,000?? She also claimed that one of the properties would be used primarily as a personal residence, and would not be rented out. There are certain financial advantages to homes being primary residences over rentals. So, she lied about that and immediately turned around and hired a management company for that property. I would have respected this if she had said that she didn't follow the rules exactly. Not maintaining that she did nothing wrong. She should have taken a plea and gotten a slap on the wrist.

Let me tell you ppl need to go back and watch Marilyn’s press conferences on Freddy Gray. As a Maryland resident I was so proud of Marilyn Mosby. She was holding wrong accountable. At the time the police were angry at the way she was prosecuting them. The way the officers handled Freddy before he was placed in the wagon he was in extreme pain. They did not secure him and he was clearly injured only because he looked suspicious and ran. From the time they acquitted those officers it’s been a constant story about her and trying to paint her as a criminal. This is heartbreaking because she spoke loud and proud to get justice for someone who could no longer speak. So I will support her and sign the petition. If it's the following case then this is all just a feeling seminar: if her retirement count is one of those things where you get financial benefits and don't pay tax on what you withdraw on hardships and then her hardship was a house in a state where she doesn't live. I strongly encourage anyone who watched this to look up her cases. She was convicted of 3 charges; two counts of perjury and one count of mortgage fraud. The good she was doing for the community likely made her a target. The good doesn't negate the fact the she also committed fraud. Two things can be true at the same time.

Definitely signing the petition. Thank you for bringing this to some of our attention.

BABY I AM TRIGGERED‼️As a Baltimorean and young black professional this is SAD😔 But very much so CORPORATE POLITICS AT ITS REALEST!!! I would love to use her story as a part of the premise for a literary piece I have been contemplating for years. I actually faced something similar with an employer (obviously not at this magnitude). And she’s right you get JADED. I listen to her story and realize this more than likely would have been me in some capacity had I moved forward with my law aspirations. HE‼️ this is me in corporate America. SHE’S RIGHT when you hold the “powers that be” accountable for the UTOPIA they parade to us they despise you. It’s important to realize when they put PEOPLE OF COLOR in “positions of power” it’s not to sincerely give us a pass to civilly exercise justice. WE’RE MERELY POSTER CHILDREN & PUPPETS. It’s actually an awful position to be in. Media definitely delineated as if she used C’ Relief funds to purchase a vacation home after lying on an application. We’re like okay this is Sheila junior 9.0 It’s sad to know how this has impacted her life as a whole. Again it’s all very triggering and I haven’t even begin to reach heights that she has. This is huge fall. I can imagine what she’s going through. You can hear the passion in her voice and pronunciation every time she speaks of her career. It’s important for her to know she’ll get through this and soon reach higher heights than what SHE THOUGHT WAS SUCCESS. This is just a wake up call to align her with her true purpose. ENVY IS RIGHT playing chess with a machine as big as the federal government takes serious support in all aspects spiritually, emotionally and financially. THANK YOU ANGELA for helping her with this. I know this is a tumultuous and weary journey to face alone. God was merciful enough to have the D.C Office of Human Rights provide great support to me (S/O to my attorney Jim Ellison as well). Trying to figure out how you’re going to live is no joke. EL ROI I PRAY 🙏🏾 you do not let them gloat or exalt themselves over Marilyn Mosby. I pray you do not forsake her and continue to be a covenant for her throughout this ordeal. MARILYN please stay grounded in your faith in GOD. HE CAN AND WILL GET YOU THROUGH THIS. Did she claim a hardship for financial reasons or not... even though her salary never decreased.... Even though she never lost her job. And then turned around and bought a house with the money??... because she was allowed to make a withdrawal without a penalty for financial hardships, not to purchase a vacation home. By the way, her salary was $248,000. She was also convicted for lying on the mortgage application. She stated that she did not have any liens on any properties. Even though she had a 45,000 tax lien. This is strange to me because if she makes that much money, why did she not pay the $45,000?? She also claimed that one of the properties would be used primarily as a personal residence, and would not be rented out. There are certain financial advantages to homes being primary residences over rentals. So, she lied about that and immediately turned around and hired a management company for that property. I would have respected this if she had said that she didn't follow the rules exactly. Not maintaining that she did nothing wrong. She should have taken a plea and gotten a slap on the wrist.
