Thanks for the video.My SE3 has the brass fluid burner and a steam shutoff on top.Very nice model I am having second thoughts about selling it after seeing your video!

I’d say keep it! They really are very nice little models - and other than a few fibre/rubber seals, there really isn’t a lot that can go wrong with them! Fire it up and see how you feel 😉

Having the steam control is a real improvement I might just sell the later version i own. You’re right the twin piston models are top tier steam toys!

Hi JeanLuc - according to the Mamod website, they were produced between 1957 and 1979

The se3 is probably the best model, Mamod ever produced? The Griffin and George variant is the best and rarest version with silver solder joints . This version has no regulator on the steam pipe! Just flat out running!
