Just like in Xmen where Wolverine had his memory sent back in time to his previous self to stop the sentinels from being made because they couldn't stop them once they were able to adapt to mutant dna. But in this case, it wasn't to prevent something it was to ensure it couldn't have happened any other way even down to the part where erins mom got eaten 🤔

Once he unlocks the founder’s and attack titan’s full abilities is when he revisits the past to ensure everything goes how it’s supposed to.

At the very least, the foresight and the rumbling were always written. Probably a lot in the middle changed along the way, but the core parts we're definitely there at least by the time the anime started

They also end the show in the same spot as they started.

You're right about the foreshadowing, you're wrong about the part when he did it. The episode title is literally the answer: "To you (Eren), 2000 years in the future." Later in the story, another chapter/episode is called "From you (Ymir/the founder), 2000 years ago." As Eren said in the manga (idk if it's out in the anime yet), the Founder sees all of time at once, so Ymir and Eren are one and the same because of the Founder. Eren from the future (after he trampled 90% of the Marleyan continent) is the one who implemented those memories in himself in the first episode. He's also the one who controlled Dina Fritz (Zeke's mother) to not eat Bertholdt after he smashed a hole in the wall of Shiganshina and go straight for his own house. And he actually did way more things 😬.

I recall the secret ability of the past and future being visible to the Attack Titan, not the Founding. I completely agree with everything else though, especially the part about Ymir and Eren becoming one essentially. I don't see many people that catch onto that, around the paths part there is a lot that leaves the implication that Eren is not just a slave to fate but also Ymir's will.

Ngl Eren from the future intimidating his dad into killing and taking the founding titan was both the most chilling and bad ass thing in the series

The attack titan can see the memories of future users , he can not send nor see his own future memories unless he sees the future memories of the previous user . In short what eren saw in his dream came from ymir , wich is why the first ep has that title ( the message that ymir send to eren , as he mentions it in s4 part 2 ), and not from young eren who at the time had no titan powers .

@@phoenixmillion8395 The memories that eren got to see in the first ep , were send by ymir , those memories helped eren to understand ymirs feelings and position , and in season 4 part 2 right before the rumbling we see the conclussion/resolve that eren had ! In terms of eren using his own powers , i dont think it was all intentional . We see that ,when Eren kruger sais" to save armin and mikasa " wich was a memore he was not supposed to see and erens true goal . So yeah not only was every attack titan shifter manipulated but theyr very goals and spirit was motivated and driven by the final attack titan user ( eren ) and that includes eren himself .
