A self-fulfilling prophecy. I see parallels to real life, and it's tragic. Continually dehumanize a group of people and they will eventually step up to the plate.

The most interesting thing is that What Eren in S01 Episode 02 i.e. "I'll kill each one of them until even one is left", got turned around from being about Titans to being about Humans

Idk what you're referring to but the final 5 seconds when the shadow casts over the town is identical to the scene where Bertholdt peeks over the wall before breaking it.

I like how the soldier called Eren "Shingeki no Kyojin" which means The Attack Titan instead of the founder ❤

I'm so happy to see you girls gotten this far. For me its so masterful to be able to relive this show by watching awesome reactors like you who understand the show. That is the sad part, that you can never rewatch it for the first time. So I thank you for being so genuine and also beautiful in your own way.

My personal favorite AOT episode. This has everything you could ask for like: Massive Titans, answering big questions, amazing animated action, godlike soundtrack, wholesome moments, pure AOT depression, and THAT ending scene. The cliffhanger to end all cliffhangers.

It's not weird at all to say you're enjoying the show, what's happening in it - that just means you enjoy the writing, the action scenes, the dialogue and many other elements. We all did when we watched the show and we still do while watching your reaction to it. 6:20 well done, Magy! This episode fills one of those "time gaps", in this case from the end of season 3 when Hange said they should explore the outside world, try to convince them that Paradis people are not devils. It's totally understandable why you would think this was a dream sequence or an alternate reality thing. The calmness, good vibes - it's all shocking after season 4 and you're right, it was specifically placed as the last episode to really hit you in the feels after everything that happened. Those sequences with our group having such a nice time in the refugee camp - those people who lost everything treating them better than the world they came to explore - it makes Eren's decision that much more heartbreaking. That final scene with the army of Colossal Titans coming out of the water, ready to trample all over that city, and Eren looming in the background - what a terrifying cliffhanger! 29:05 I'm proud of you, Magy! This is the most sane take I've heard, more people should aspire to be as calm and sensible as you. Thank you for the beautiful, in depth discussion and for this incredible reaction ❤

Eren (4x20) : “Rather than letting someone steal my freedom, I'll steal theirs first.” The shot of Eren getting carried away from his mom getting eaten, to then transition to his founding titan marching on Marley, is phenomenal. To imagine that that little kid now has all this power. 🔥🔥✊

Something wild, a detail that most people miss the first time around... If you look at that episode, way back in the beginning, Eren's mom? Is kicking her legs, and they are undamaged... She lied to them because she was pinned. If they could have lifted the beam on her, they all could have run together.

It totally couldn't be prevented, in 20 years World would have atomic bombs. Not only airplanes like it was mentioned in the show. Like the other only option was to sacrifice Paradise forever, problem is that Eldians would still keep existing, I mean Subjects of Ymir, and Ymir would still be a slave. So kind of it was a dilemma of sorts of a story. Kind of spoiler comment, but I'm only saying this because they already finished it on Patreon.

Sadly. There are no others ends possible. Eren's power about transcending time already confirmed that everything is determined. Eren is in a time loop. And in a time loop, there are no differents ends, only one.

Imo to understand Eren's character and his actions you need to see things from his pov, they tried to find other ways but they always failed and he has only 4 years left and he can't accept the idea of dying without knowing for sure that Mikasa and the others are safe. You can agree or disagree with him, but you can understand why he's doing it. It's the main point of aot

Absolument pas puisque ça n'est pas son choix initialement, il faut suivre correctement et de toute façon, Eren a vu tout le futur complètement. Il a essayé des milliers de fois de changer et ce fût impossible, le futur qu'il a vu , s'est quand même déroulé ainsi et il sait déjà qu'ils vont obligatoirement tous mourir et que s'est déjà établi.
