No spoilers The Attack Titan future thing goes like this: - In these episode Grisha was seeing Eren’s POV, that’s why the only times he “sees” Zeke was when Eren was behind both of em. - When Eren talked to Grisha, he saw himself from Eren’s eyes and heard him. Same thing when Grisha was saying to little Eren bout the basement - When Eren kissed historia’s hand he saw what Grisha saw, that this future Eren showed to him, that’s why they had the same expression. - This episode implies that Future Eren pretty much set everything up lol (obviously just with the hosts of the attack titan)

It's absolutely insane because now you have to wonder just how far Eren's manipulation goes back. We know for a fact that Eren Kruger received memories from Yeager, but what's to say that Eren hasn't project his plan thousands of years into the past to get the ball rolling?

@@vsGoliath96 because he wouldnt know what would happen. there are too many tiny shifts in history that may have led to insane alterations. for all we know, eren could have been sending memories that far back in the past and orchestrating the entire thing, but the explanation for how and why that happened would stretch across 2000 years, and Isayama would have to explore every nook and cranny of one of his titan powers. and as we've seen with the whole Ackermann situation, would have failed miserably. its one of the concepts that was never fully expanded on by isayama, and one of his failures. honestly, including time manipulation as a whole was a miss, but thats a different problem.

Animaechan is the only one that remembered the little conversation between eren and zeke which was important. Eren told him he saw his fathers memories and was disappointed. Not because he crushed the family like he said, but because he didn’t go through the plan of taking the founder

I think in terms of plot twists in this series it’s better than Reiner and Bertholdts reveal. Some people speculated that the armoured Titan was Reiner because of the hair, and bertholdt because he almost transformed when the town came crumbling down when Ymir was fighting yhe pure titans. For that one it was just a matter of when the warriors would reveal themselves as imposters. This however, I think I can speak for almost everyone, no one expected this to happen. We saw glimmers and very little Easter eggs of eren influencing the story. The first episode with grisha telling eren that he’d show the basement one day(not looking at kid eren but paths eren) being the biggest clue. This episode defo top 3 imo

I love the line about killing the whole family but the father. Almost certainly Eren's doing as well.

This scene was crazy as hell I have not read the manga but I have seen a video of explaining the manga scene of this its crazy watching this in anime form

Living isolated among monsters, constantly in fear of being eaten alive and had war brought upon his home due to crimes he never committed, and top it off, close to being the one getting annihilated if he had not done anything BY THE REST OF THE FUCKING WORLD. Yeah, sure. Keep in mind that Tybur's war declaration happened before Eren "declared" his own war. So if Eren had not done anything, Marley would've gotten the whole world to mow down Paradis Island. Eren is a psycho alright, but only because the world forced him to become one.

@@4thsin098 I feel like you're forgetting a very important line. "I've always been like this... from the moment I was born." Eren was perfectly okay with killing multiple grown men years before the wall came down. He was already crazy and violent, but the horrible situation of the world just gave him a direction and an excuse to channel it. He was also the only one who seemed to care all that much about the titans and being trapped in the walls at all. Everyone else was relatively content to live their lives. Willy Tybur had nothing to do with Eren being a driven killer. Neither did the titans or Zeke or anyone else. That's just who he is and no one forced that on him.

It means that he had always had the strength to do what others couldn't in order to protect the ones he cares about, even if it's murder or, as of "now", mass genocide. If he was "perfectly okay" with killing everyone beyond Paradis Island, he wouldn't have cried his heart out in the recent episode about killing the world. He knew it was cruel, he admitted it, he even wondered if this was the right choice and more so considered that maybe if he thought about how his mom felt, he would've found a single sane reason left to not proceed with the Rumbling. Edit: Will Tybur wanted to wipe out the Eldian on Paradis Island. Sure, Eren already decided to kill Tybur but what if he didn't attack Marley? Would you say Tybur is still innocent for pointing every single finger at Paradis and annihilating their whole nation? Titans didn't do anything but Marley did, "the world outside" did, they gave order to wipe out any Eldian necessary to gain the control of the Founder, even if it's mass murder. Eren didn't force himself out of spite, he was so sick of seeing pain everywhere around him that he forced himself to be brutal so that nothing else can be of threat to him or his people.

At least before he died, he gave Mikasa 4 years of pure bliss, together. It was all he could do, to ask for her forgiveness, for abandoning her, for being unable to be with her, when he had loved her from the start, as she had loved him. He died in her arms, and when she eventually passed, she rejoined him, in the afterlife.
