For some reason not a lot of locomotives in preservation that run don’t use the automatic bell ringers anymore it’s either air compressed or a normal cord bell

If I can recall correctly, Frisco 1630 uses an automatic bell ringer. Correct?

@@Aftermath779 yes 1630 does gets stuck once in awhile as well as the shay has one as well

Strasburg's locomotives also have these bell ringers (except 475).

There is a little air cylinder on the engineer side of the bell that pushes it back and forth. Now the air in the cab and the cylinder needs to be just right or it will over swing the bell and get it stuck. We're prepping it for the 6th!
