There's just so much for someone like me to learn. I'm a retired truck driver and never messed with computers and it's very intimidating. With every update, it seems to just continue ruining mods and I can't figure out how to update them myself. Doesn't seem like any modders hardly want to keep their mods current. I love this game but it seems like more work than play nowadays.

Joe, if you stick to mods from Steam, they get updated regularly. The reputable pay mod guys do a good job of updating their mods. It is up to the end user to stay on top of it though. What mods are giving you trouble?

Thanks for the great mod video Dan. I will need to watch many More times to absorb all the info. I got my first SCS skins mod ( box trailer and chemical tanker) working this morning. Still need to tweak my logos to look symmetrical and spaced even. I don't upgrade ATS versions till I absolutely have to, tired of SCS breaking mods in the ATS workshop. With a correctly saved .DDS file I wonder how it breaks with a version updates? Possibly they change the file location.

@@danmcnarry I will Deffinately be watching your video on profile changing, and be re watching the truck skin video paying more attention to copying profiles. I have digitized some real company logos into PNG & DDS files for my trailer skins. Also I loaded up the tractor doors with ICC MC, US DOT, State DOT, weight numbers like the trucks in the 70' had. I like the old school look, Cory Watson mod trucks and Mr. Overfloater's K100 are so Cool.

Great video Dan. Helpful for me to setup my Jon Ruda profile. Was wondering if you could do one for Joel Collin's Rollin 389? His mod order is much different. Was wondering how you set it up. In his instructions he tells you to remove all other Peterbuilt 389 mods. So, you kind of have to have a separate profile for his.

I am running all 4 of his trucks in the same profile currently. All good. I don't do it exactly as he says but it all works fine.

Dan, if you find the time to answer this question, that would be awesome. I got John Rudis 362. Purchased it, took it for a spin, then came back to try, and do some configuring/modifications. And when I hit confirm, it would not save the changes that I had made. Did I have to configure the truck before I purchase?

You can make changes to and outfit the truck the way you like prior to purchasing it. After purchase you need to go to a shop or service location. After making the changes you need to hit the confirm button at the bottom left before leaving the shop. Sorry for the late reply.

I just bought the latest version of the Euro Truck game and I can't find this access mod dealer key to buy the trucks I downloaded can you help me

All the help you need should be in the video. Try watching it again. If you are still having problems try giving me a better idea of what the problem is. Also be good to know how you have set up your mod folder. Have you had luck using any mods and do you have a working mod folder? If not, check the video again and go slow. I can go pretty fast in the videos.

how did you get the 389 acc pack

Hey Dan, thanks for the tutorial. Kind of a dumb question mabey but your running all your mod in one mod folder correct? Then just activating certain mods in certain profiles correct? So if you have pizzsters and rudas trucks both are in the same mod folder but activated in separate profiles?

That's right. I've learned that certain mods don't play well with others. I try and keep it down to 2 or 3 trucks per profile and if a mod maker has several trucks, a profile just for that modder. It's very easy to clone a profile, rename it, sell the trucks in it and outfit it with different trucks. I have a few different tutorials that go through the process. All the best, good luck!

I don’t have a mod folder in my American truck simulator documents

When I get in the game I load 2 steam truck mods and I go into the truck dealer I don’t see the mod truck dealer what do I do PLEASE HELP

At the lower centre right side of the screen, after you have clicked Truck Purchase, you should see mod truck dealers. Click that and the stock trucks that were on the left should be your mod trucks.
