Plastic balls or paper balls,
metal wire,
Glue,
Small piece of thermocol or cardboard (for stand).
This video is for educational and model making purpose. All necessary dimensions for making the model and step by step tutorial is shown in the video. This model will be apt for school projects, science exhibitions. Hope you will enjoy this video

    This is a carbon atom. I actually made a carbon atom. It should have 6 protons, 6 neutrons and 6 electrons. The nucleus became so big with 12 balls. So, decided to reduce 6 balls to accomodate the nucleus inside the orbits. Sorry about the confusion 😊

    Its just hanging on a thread. Just twist it with your hand slightly. It will rotate for a while.

    It is called GI wire (Galvanized iron wire). You can get them in hardware shops. It is sold in kilograms. A kg will cost around 100 rupees. You will need only 100 - 200 grams of this wire for your project.

    Go for it! You can get these balls in stationeries, plastic shops and fancy stores.

    You can get these metal wires from a hardware shop. The balls are soft plastic balls (kids toys). I got them from Amazon.

    No need to tie the electrons. Just pierce the balls into the wire. If needed you can tie the electron orbits if its a bit wobbly. Use a thick metal wire as electron orbit.

    Make a small cut on the thermocol, apply hot glue (not very hot), keep the steel wire on place and hold it with your hand until the glue hardens.

    Use a thermocol or thick cardboard. Pour hot glue and hold the wires until the glue hardens completely.

    It is a metallic GI wire. You can get them in hardware shops. 1 kg of this wire will be around 50 -60 rupees. You will need only around100gms of this wire.
