This is a carbon atom. I actually made a carbon atom. It should have 6 protons, 6 neutrons and 6 electrons. The nucleus became so big with 12 balls. So, decided to reduce 6 balls to accomodate the nucleus inside the orbits. Sorry about the confusion 😊

Thank you so much, I was doing the Quantum Mechanical Model of an Atom for the science fair. But just one day before the fair, my teacher told me to bring a Neil Bohr's model for comparison. Your video was a life saver.

Its just hanging on a thread. Just twist it with your hand slightly. It will rotate for a while.
My daughter has to do this tomorrow. What is that metal you used called and where did you get it? Coat hanger doesn’t make good circle

It is called GI wire (Galvanized iron wire). You can get them in hardware shops. It is sold in kilograms. A kg will cost around 100 rupees. You will need only 100 - 200 grams of this wire for your project.

Is that is working
Where did you get the balls and wire from? Are the balls more like 'stress balls' (squishy?)

You can get these metal wires from a hardware shop. The balls are soft plastic balls (kids toys). I got them from Amazon.

Hi pls reply how did you tie electrons
@diyasfunplay
Жыл бұрын
No need to tie the electrons. Just pierce the balls into the wire. If needed you can tie the electron orbits if its a bit wobbly. Use a thick metal wire as electron orbit.

Make a small cut on the thermocol, apply hot glue (not very hot), keep the steel wire on place and hold it with your hand until the glue hardens.
