HOLY SHIT I NEED PLAY THIS

I must say I wish the game still had most of this design environmentally. The game doesn't give off the horror/ scarier vibe this trailer made me feel. Shame the clown was relegated to a stage piece and other zombies were cut and the overall scary aesthetic was completely changed for a more action-y type of game. I hope something similar to this arrives in the DLC

I'm not quite sure but this could be a possible dlc but thinking about it I feel like of the game looked like this I don't know if it could've had a story least one that fits it or makes sense.

Yeah they totally went action-adventure style instead of survival-adventure. It is fun to play but it definitely feels like a total different game compare to the trailers before 2022.

Coming back to this Trailer After 4 years and seeing all the changes is amazing.

Huh? It's more polished now but they cut a metric fuckton of content from the trailer to official release. It's literally a different game. Here it looks like some kind of crazy, scary STALKER game or some kind of Russian Fallout. But the released game is nothing like that at all. Atomic Heart is more like Russian Bioshock.

The game turned out very good, but I hope the inevitable sequel gives us more of what this trailer showed. The amount of content in here that didn't make it into the final product is very significant.

Kinda wish we saw some of the unused designs in this trailer applied to the final game. Those zombies look beautifully horrifying and some of the robots could’ve had such potential in the open world.

This game's been on a rough ride, but I'm so glad they kept the artistic route from this trailer almost intact. It seemed it would never be released, but now we're very close to release. I hope the game is as good as it looks

С выходом combat trailer-а приятно видеть что игру очень сильно улучшили

Да у этих ребят добротные аниматоры, которые, как минимум, умеют снимать отличные трейлеры. Помню, их первый уже тогда приятно удивил. На открытии сгущенки смеялся в голос. В некоторых боях кажется, что от 3-его лица было бы проще. Но все равно очень и очень годно! Сжав кулачки, жду, когда прозвучат первые диалоги, в которых часто чувствуется вся "мощь" малобюджетных проектов. Удачи вам, ребята, вы делаете крутые вещи!

Honestly, I think there should be a DLC that further expands on this trailer, it would be cool since the earlier versions portrayed more of a survival horror than a DOOM like gameplay

I dont understand why sone youtubers are so dissapointed like mrmattyplays its fun game and great on hard its really satysfying with the dodge manechick with buttcheekclenching action enemies font wait for you to get back up they will cobo your ass if hou dont kerp dodging

I really like the IP. The world is fun and interesting, but I'm SOOOO upset with all of the cut content. I mean we didn't get the clown zombies, we didn't get the weird skinny robots, none of the huge polymer fields, we saw the clown trap in one area, and the gun customization at the end? Where did it all go? I really hope it comes back in a dlc or anything. I was hoping for a unique horror shooter. It feels bland without the missing pieces.

The game we got FEELS almost nothing like these trailers. Sure, it has some of the robots, concepts, and locations but it never once feels like it matched the tone of the first few trailers. Im very conflicted because I loved the world design and combat of the game, but the story ESPECIALLY the ending was just incredibly rushed and very strange..

Only thing that is 1 to 1 with the trailer seems to be the weapons and the stupid locks

I would like to point out couple of things here. First, the monument you see in the first few seconds of this trailer is The Motherland Calls statue, as wikipedea puts it -- "compositional center of the monument-ensemble "Heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad"". It indicates that events of the game may take place somewhere in Volgograd region (former Stalingrad). But more importently it sugests that USSR in this timeline fought in WW2 and won. Sechenov Research Institute does exist, but it's located in Moscow and it's main goal is treatment of tuberculosis. Some anomalies presented are similar to those described in "Roadside Picnic", novel on which S.T.A.L.K.E.R games are heavily based. Eating condensed milk to restore your HP is a pretty neat touch =). And calling your gun "Absatz - 2" is something like calling you ultimate weapon in DOOM BFG!

what does absatz-2 mean? cant find anything Also the tech level suggests some basic form of AI and reality manipulation, probably what won them the war, as well as most of the machines looking like they were built for civilian usage(as military grade robots would have weapons) so this is most likely a high tech research facility disguised as a robot research facility

Just finished the game and went bback to watch this trailer, as I felt like there was a lot I remembered from this that I never experienced. I see now that a lot changed, which is understandable - but man they cut out a lot of stuff... I wish the actual game had these things and wasn't so repetative

As much as I love this game this version from the trailer seems like it had a different direction than the mostly sci fi one we have right now. Back when I saw this is in E3 2018 with my friends I thought the game was more centered around a soviet alternate history horror open world FPS with robots and zombies.

And after 5 years , we finally know the Release Date - see you all in February 2023

Crazy to see the difference now. It seems like the game was supposed to be at a rundown robotics complex but instead the turnover happened shortly after our arrival in the current game.

Crazy how the game went from a super russian bioshock with an amount of variety to a coomer game

Really hope this game gets a sequel so we can see a form of the cut content from this trailer in the future. The game itself is a solid single player experience but it definitely brings me wanting more

really disappointed that this stuff got canned in the actual release

я имел в виду сделать так, чтоб он просто две дырки проделывал с двух сторон, а не открывал крышку

​@@Potsndpans everything that is in this trailer is in the game and add-ons, they only changed the appearance of enemies, weapons and locations, just the textures became different, they were brought to mind, and u just got into the atmosphere of an outdated project. there r a few concepts that they have abandoned, but they are not in the trailers. in addition, two years ago they informed discord that they wanted to keep some concepts for the second part. but, again, these concepts are not in the trailers.

The final release was at the same time very similar and completely different, but overall I had a great time and played through the whole thing. Good job for being one of the very few games that I was hyped for, which did not disappoint!

This looks really damn good, LOVE when games get really creative like Bioshock, Prey, System Shock etc, and give us insane awesome worlds to play around in, Getting this for PC for sure.

I dont know about you but I "miss" old Atomic Heart. I mostly mean asthetic. In the older trailers, I could somewhat believe this is happening in 60s soviet union. The vibe, the technology - I could belive that this is retrofuturistic. In recent trailers, it all looks "too modern" - it lost the retrotech and soviet asthetics. Also I think zombies (in this form) 1:04 and 1:16 bomb throwing enemy were cut from the development - we didnt see them in later (or at least - latest) trailers. I wrote "miss" because what we see here isnt a game - its just start of the project. It was 4 years ago and when you make a game, inevitably you will have to cut corners and abandon certain ideas. But it still pains me too see what atomic heart will could have been.

ye i somewhat agree with you here.

Just finished the game and loved every minute of it, would love to see what’s next for the company and if a possible sequel, use the unused content. Here’s hoping!

That game looks fantastic looks like a bioshock sequel

There are obvious links to fallout and bioshock and I love all of those games. I really appreciate how they took inspiration from those games but also put their own spin on things. The amount of detail looks crazy and it looks like they really put their hearts into this. I hope to try this game out and hope they have most the bugs worked out by release. If there is one thing I hate as a gamer is the publisher pushing out games before the studio is done.

The differnce between this trailer and the newest one is just stunning..... Clearly the 4 years the devs worked on this was worth it.

Looks great guys. I'm sad that it's cause for excitement when a decent non-war-based, non-franchise FPS gets announced, but that's the future we're living in. Glad somebody's still making interesting shooters!!!
