What it has succeeded in for sure is world building, animations and graphics. But it will only keep players if the game mechanics and ai work well which we cannot tell without actually trying it.

If they actually go through with the visable battle wear on the enemies, this will be even more sick. Not many games put that detail in. It's always some soulless 2bit blood splatters or sparks.

Actually in dying light whenever you hit a enemy you see the exact damage occur on that part of the body,gore is very dynamic in it

Doom Eternal had it, and the Baron's battle damage was probably the sickest. It's muscles and blood were literally made of fire.

On graphics alone, this game is HEAVILY slept on. The metal deformation and buckling when the robots get sliced is insane!

Physical damage used to be a thing WAAAAAAAAAY back in the N64 days (Anyone remember being able to karate chop guns out of the hands of enemies in Perfect Dark 64 or shooting enemies in the leg and forcing them to limp after you?) Seeing slash marks on the enemies in today's games is just a way overdo feature that many devs just forgot to include in a lot of titles over the years. It's okay, but it's neither groundbreaking nor new.

As a 3D modeler 2 months from graduation, this project gives me a lot of hope. It's absolutely terrifying to be asked as a newbie designer to model, texture, rig, etc., at such a fast pace... this project has taken years and by the looks of it, this elongated development process is exactly what allows its developers to take their time and love their work versus being forced to achieve goals at an extremely fast pace. Artists shouldn't be forced to grind away at their sanity because of extreme deadlines... gamers, including myself, need to remember that the games we play and love take time and human effort... and when their given ample time like this, you can clearly tell it pays off.

Даже с этой точки зрения это просто зашибенный проект! Еще хочу добавить, что как человек уже постсоветский, никогда не любивший советскую музыку, но выросший на ней и куче старых мультфильмов, наконец могу сломать в своей голове стереотип о том, что это что-то старое, забытое и не из того времени. you guys knew what you where doing with the robot twins.

The background metal chugging in the second half of the video really sold this game to me a second time

Just the design of the enemies olone makes me interested in what the lore is. Also that music is fire

This game is like Bioshock, but if you replaced the oligarchic society with high tech communism! So hyped!

Bioshock wasn't an oligarchy, it was an Ayn Rand Objectivist society which is close to (right) libertarian society. Plus it's not communism but rather socialism that for unknown lore reasons turned into some sort of technocracy.

Это только мои предположения: На одном из ключей (наверно ключей) было написано русскими буквами "УСК-3".Возможно,но это не точно,имелось ввиду:(УСК) Уровень Субъективного Контроля-методика,предназначенная для диагностики интернальности-экстернальности,то есть степени готовности человека брать на себя ответственность за то,что происходит с ним и вокруг него.Что означала цифра-неизвестно,может один из пунктов (УСК).

That middle part where he just tentacle blasted his behind killed me, that is the strangest cut in a game trailer in history

This game looks absolutely insane. Can't wait to play it. Really interested to see how all these visuals fit into a story.

Bloody hell, looks like we got a banger of a game on the horizon. Hope it lives up to expectations
