Atomic Bent Chetler 100 | Long-Term Ski Review
Спорт
In this long term ski review, I talk about my experience skiing the Bentchetler 100 over the last two years. I’ve used them for freestyle skiing and all-mountain, freeride. I will let you know what’s good and bad about them. If you need a pair in Europe here’s a good deal bit.ly/EU-Bent-Chetler100
We do camps for adults where we teach you to shred the whole mountain at our freestyle camps & ski camps stompittutorials.com/camps/
I received this ski gear for free and I made this video because I (Jens) wanted to make it and the video is not sponsored in any other way!

I love the consistent uploads! Keep it up. I can tell your putting in the work.
I just got my lady and I a set of these. I’m excited to get back out on the slopes!
Skiied these all last season with some marker bindings and it was some of the most fun I’ve had on a ski. Great wherever you go.
Thanks for the great review. For me, the Bent Chetler is the perfect "one quiver" ski. You can have fun everywhere, from park to pow and even light touring. However, I do think that the Bent Chetler is actually a bit better Off-Piste than you mentioned. Maybe not for the deepest of the deep days but 80% you will have more fun with the 100 compared to the 120.
I bought them last year and althou it was my 1st time skying in 10 years I had a blast. Managed to go to the mountain 25 times last winter, Im now 40 y.o and I had never really taken jumps or skied switch before but by the end of last winter winter i was doing both like i had skied my entire life. This year i will focuys on 180 and 360 and beginner rails and feature and that's gonna be it for me I will be fullfilled lol. Love those skies, love your channel, Keep up the good work!

Great review! Love to see you do more on Bentchetler 120 and RedsterG9/S9

I've gotten lucky and got the 2020-2021 BC 100 last season. These ski's look great, feel very light and are the most playful/polyvalent ski I've ridden so far. Great review, I'm sure a couple viewers will fall in love with these skis (and their awesome designs), just as I did :)

Amazing video! Could you do a review on the Atomic Bent Chetler 120’s?
Can’t agree more with your review but I do like the longer radius when bombing it down runs.
Thanks my dude! Just picked up a set of the 21' Bent Chetlers in 172cm and this video was exactly what I was looking for. Have a good time shredding everyone.

This video was really helpful!👍👍
I’ve got the same. So it was a present from friends. And I really like it
Bought the 2020's and only skied on them once, but honestly felt so much fun and i wanted to learn new stuff including freestyle. Booked in for the feb freestyle camp and i cant wait to progress on them. (If covid allows) See you next year :))))

Get a pair of demo bindings slap em on their and you can change the mounting point further forward for sunny days at the park, or further back for pow days!
Got this ski a few weeks ago it is great on cliffs and big jumpd
I was considering these skis but ultimately ended up going with the Faction Prodigy 2.0.. I wanted a more playful ski and a bit narrower considering I do my riding in the Midwest.

Are the tips and tails “poppy/springy” or slightly soft. I’m in WI, and have been eyeing up the new 21’ Prodigy 1.0 at 176. The 2.0 for me would be too wide, all groomer use for me, little bit of trees, bumps, bombing runs, etc. would love your feedback on the prodigy please! I debating about Armada ARV 86 vs Prodigy 1.0. Can they hold an edge well enough or is there too much rocker in tip and tail, any chatter at speed? Thanks!
Got em last season love them so much 🦾
Awesome video Jens! Have you ever tried the Faction Candide 3.0? I tried them last week and I think you would really like them
I love people who love AND know what to do! Kudos and keep up the great work! You helped me with choosing the right ski and I intend to buy via your affiliate link. One more question about that: Which bindings do you recommend for the BC 100? Is Atomic/Salomon Warden 13 an option that makes sense? Or are there other bindings that you´d recommend to somebody who skies quite well (nearly 30 years by now), gets 20-30 ski days a season and now intends to get more seriously about freeriding (with good chances of trying to land my first 180/360 before if the old bones allow it ;) )?
Omg I was looking online for these skis, but I had not found any good reviews. Now you bring this vid, perfect timing.

Great Video Man Please do a Review on the Bent Chetler 120.

hi could you also do a review about the revolt 104 from voelkl
Thank you for this video!!! How can I know at what point I have mounted the ski? I bought them last year and i don´t know where they mounted them in the ski shop
Nice review as always! Im about to buy one soon but not sure wheter i should mount it - 1. 5 or - 2cm from true center. I want it as an allmountain/park ski. What do you think? it's not such a huge difference i know 😅
I would love to hear you opinion on the new 2022 Elan Ripstick 96 and its comparison to Atomic Bent Chetler 100.
Nice review, I pretty much agree. I tried mounts rec to +4 cm, liked +2 to +4 cm.
@2sully4

Did you run them in any powder at +4?
@jarmopilli1869
2 жыл бұрын
@@2sully4 No, only rec to +2 in powder. Almost all on +2 which was fine. I assume that +4 would be still ok if you are used to center stance and ok with occassional tip dives. I have skied other skis even more centered stance and had fun. I think Jens had +4 as original mount and has some powder experience.
@Stomp it tutorials I am looking to get those in 172 size and am a little unsure what bindings to put on these. I have been mostly a on piste skier so far, but am looking to get into the powder and try to learn some freestyle. Any specific bindings you could recommend for mosty slopes but also to feel safe in powder and jumping?
Hey man, how would you compare these to the faction CT 2.0's? Currently considering both
I have the same bent chetler 120's now. And I want to put a marker Duke PT 16 on it. Any advice on where to mount it? I want to ride powder and do some tricks and cliffs with it. (I'm a ski teacher too)
How big of a difference does +5 vs +6 make? I ride mostly park and a bit of all mountain
Great video thaks! Can I maybe have your opinion on Salomon QST 99 as mostly ALL Mountain SKI vs Atomix Bent Chetler 100? Thx ;)
Oh I didn't this can be use for park too! I thought I had to go with Punx 5 for parks terrain. How flex soft is it
I love this ski.
can you do one of these with a more affordable ski setup option?
What about backcountry ability of this skies? Im going to get this for backcountry and 120 for deep snow... is that setup good for all ocasions? what do you think... P.S. Thank you for the videos ;)
I am 177cm tall. I am also an intermediate skier and fairly light. I am looking to get myself a pair of bent chetler 100s because I want to get into park and freeride skiing. I can allready do a 180 but not a 360. Should I get the 172 or 180 size?
Can you talk about how to choose boots, based on how you ski? Kinda like your “how to choose the perfect ski length” vid.

Faction Prodigy 3.0 vs Atomic Bent Chetler 100 Which would you prefer for all mountain skiing and fun in the park
hey jens, can i buy the black things where you hang your skie on, on the wall? mayby you have a sponsort link? thx
Is there any way to know by watching the ski?? (the mounting point,)?
Im on a site that says that the Bent Chetler 100 is a telemark ski. Why and does it make a difference if i ski non-telemark with them?
I`m a decent skier, doing very well on piste and enjoying more and more skiing on powder and off piste, would this be a good ski for me? If anyone can give me an advice, thx
Hey dude, first of all love the content. I’m on the mogul skiing team at Stratton but this year, I can’t be on the team. So I decided, instead of skiing an id one I said . I’m gonna have fun this year. So I asked my parents for the faction prodigy 1.0. And then I said “I love stomp it so much, I’m gonna start my own ski channel” any tips because you are basically who I’ve looked up to since I’ve been 8( I’m now 12) thx so much for the content keep it up. Hopefully one year I could get the opportunity to go to one of your camps.

Hi there, I´m planning on buying one of these Bent Cheaters 100, just don't know which size, can you help? I´m 175 cm tall and 65 kg weight. I wish there was an intermediate measure between 172 and 180 on the skis, but one there isn't, with size would recommend form me? I´m an intermediate/advanced skier on pist, and not so intermediate off pist, totally beginner on park. I also do skim, and the skis will be to do 20% skimp, 50% off pist, 30% pist and 10% park. Thanks!
Im thinking of getting the Line Sakana. Have you tried it?
Could You compare it to the faction ct 2.0??
The long turn radius concerns me to. I have a pair of skis that has a long turn radius and is great for hard pack. I want something that goes through powder, crud, and slush. I think something with a shorter turn radius might work better for those conditions.

After hours of youtube-skiing I decided to go for the Bent Chetler 100's. I feel like I am between sizes.. Im 178cm and 78kg, 41yo and fit intermediate/advanced, so the 180cm skis will be a few centimeters to long for me.. ( I ski the old QST 92 in size 177cm (2017) now, they are alright when I ski the groomers but a little bit too long in the trees for my level of skiing - a lot of skiing close to the groomers with my kids but not on the piste! ). The 180cm feels like they are 5cm too long in my opinion. Are 172cm way too short for me? Greetings from Göteborg!

What is with the blurry base graphic? I've seen a lot of base graphics... none are blurry except this one.
