ABOUT THE TRACK:
BAD GIRLS is the latest hot release from LA producer ATOM SMITH with British session singer and pianist ALANNA LYES. Combining seriously dirty jazz vibes with Electro Swing energy, it positively sizzles with 21st century attitude, setting a swaggering vocal against wobbly bass and a Big Band brass section in full swing courtesy of Hollywood studio arranger ELLIOT DEUTSCH. It's a deliciously naughty cocktail.
The track is already in the running for several high profile syncs, and shows all the signs of a crossover hit for Freshly Squeezed. It follows last year's lower-key collaboration between Atom and Alanna when he took production duties on her brilliant debut album LIES HERE.

The Original Puppeteers (AKA @toddlenoodle86 and @trickiedickie89 #originalpuppeteers) are a phenomena on TikTok with their constant stream of wildly inventive and eclectic pop re-interpretations - all in their own inimitable style. Fans of electro swing may recognise them from the Parov Stelar videos, but check too their version of Kate Bush's Running Up That Hill (from Stranger Things) for another example of their art... needless to say we're huge fans and delighted to be working with them on this, we hope, the first of many such collaborations.
