I have a replacement coming. Newest fw became more buggy than the previous. I also am going from the 3x LRF to the 5x LRF. Hoping I get more clarity with the higher magnification. Appreciate your sharing your information.

I have a AGM thermal mono, i really like it, but the same thing when i zoom in past 4x everything is blurry the image breaks up.

we looked into the pulser's but after we purchased the ATN's. I like the infrared better than nv, i like to see the animals vs thermal. the thermal is great for spotting though.

Looks like 782 has a lot of noise canceling software going on. It blurs the image and smooths it out. I prefer the older.

I have to agree, some images are clearer and smoother but the older firmware seems to be better.

I really wanted one of these scopes, But with the sheer amount of frustration and problems that people are having with them I'm just going to have to get something else. ATN has amazing features... But the scopes do not work when you need them to. A $1,000 plus scope should give you years and years of trouble free use.

i totally agree, if i knew the issues before i bought it i might have not. i missed 7 hogs while hunting because my scope was not saving zero, i figured out a temp solution after the fact. Even with all the past issues i would still recommend the scope it is awesome. To me knowing that ATN has great customer service and support is huge and a 3 year warranty.

The one on the right with the 782 firmware. I just updated my to 782, I was wondering I have kept many version of firmware. Do you think I could revert back if I don't like it?

Not sure, i do know that if you miss a firmware update it has to go back in to be done, they have do a reboot with every firmware you missed. i was told not to update the last 3 firmwares because i had no issues. Than when 782 came out i wanted the better quality image, had to send scop in. Might be worth calling support that is a great question.
