Years ago my cousin turned me on to Atmosphere. She went into a coma on Xmas day. Today I learned she was declared braindead and is being taken off of life support. spent a long time in the pen for a felony. This man is the only rapper who has accurately captured the sorrow and feeling of the uphill battle that the struggle is. I respect him greatly. His songs outweigh all of these rappers of todays age by a long shot because his words have meaning. Its more than bitches, money, and drugs. Its the day in day out march to the end. The hard work and love that you put into something that you care about. This man is in all of us.

Man. 100% legit observation here. Rhymesayers ENT and Strange Music have more talent stacked to the ceiling than major mainstream labels could ever stand to stomach. I like the authenticity and heart that a lot of Rhymesayers artists put into their music, more but that's personal taste. Just damn though. Why aren't THESE artists getting radio play instead of (insert any name). It's rhetorical, so no one answer. I'm just saying I think that the Rhymesayers roster should be what's coming from your speakers. If you know someone who isn't familiar with any artists from here...clue them in. Share the wealth.
