It happens alot in Atlanta because Atlanta is becoming this place where if you dont have a business and expensive things your not considered successful. There are a lot of get rich quick schemes around here and scammers. Everyone wants the glitz and the glamour now and they dont want to work hard for it. Our car club in Atlanta area has been warning people against this. We are also having a huge problem with studios renting classics and damaging them as well which no one ever talks about.

On the topic of Turo, I wish you went a little deeper about the service (granted I understand that you are educating us on the entire car rental business. He had full coverage insurance full coverage insurance doesn’t cover you if you rent your car out to somebody else that you don’t know

I would have an attorney draft a contract to use with any and all brokers/customers! If they refuse to sign the contract then they clearly are shady, or have shady intentions! Just my personal opinion!!

I financed a car for turo and I put 6k down to get the monthly payment low. If God forbid it's wrecked in a total loss on the 1st trip and it has to go through gap insurance to pay off the loan would I see my down payment again or is it lost?

I have a few clients in New York but they all rent cars in different states New York since Sherance is too high in the licensing and everything else I mean if you go full legit and get a rental car business you can make a lot of money one thing that I’ve seen a lot of people charge for that making money out there is the actual car with a driver

that depends on you. I always set up as a business so if you grow you can scale it with a LLC Business License and credit if its personal. you can only scale to a smaller size

I laughed sometimes when I hear these stories, but it's a sad reality to what we as a people have become. I often think about what was starting & running business like before say a KZread? People are so lazy to read & put real effort into what they say they want, everyone want's the instant insta lifestyles with no real substance to it. The term that has resonated with these youngings are "fake it til you make it" & it's destroying the fabric of society tremendously.

If your renting on Turo to test the market your fine. but once you have a good feel for the business then i would apply for your rental car license so you can rent to the general public

They have to be rebuilt titles. And you have to get clearance from your insurance company to see if they will ensure them

I have purchased numerous salvage vehicles for myself and got them insurance with full coverage. Do I have to go to a commercial auto insurance company for rental or a company like Allstate or State farm?

To be honest with you I tell all my friends and clients never rent any Dodge SRT because everybody wants to rent them and just do burnouts so if you do rent one you’re going to have to make sure you check the tires every single time do you get it back

His personal insurance will cover it , you are allowed to let people use your car ! And Turo will cover it if rented on it!

I’m not sure if you watch the full video but it’s Not when it’s intended for rental car usage and if you don’t actually know the person. And some policy’s have a friend and family clause. Also the broker lied and said that he was going to put it on Turo and did not and rented it person to person for.
