aang’s clothes are supposed to look that bright not only because of the cartoon, but because his clothes are literally just as bright as the clothes real tibetan monks wear by whom he was inspired. the live action’s show runner IS an atla fan btw!

If Heibai is that creepy in live action, imagine what Ko the Face Stealer will look like! 😳 can't wait.

I do agree that Zuko's scar isn't right for that type of injury but I guess they didn't want to make it too grotesque. I'm excited to see your reactions to this.

I kinda wish they had, some of us unfortunately have to live with grotesque scars and I'll be honest Zuko helps be seen, that just because you may look scary doesnt mean you cant be a hero! IMHO

You should totally watch the 'tea time with Toph' series where Toph's VA rewatches the entire ATLA... She's currently on season 2/Book 3... What I find funny is that she's almost as blind as Toph... like really bad vision... without Toph's ability to see through vibrations in the ground

Just got done rewatching the original show out of excitement for this new one coming up. I also watched it as it aired live back then and my inner child is immensely happy. This new show is even reconnecting me with my childhood friends, whom I haven’t seen in years, as we have already made plans to watch it together when it releases. This is how important this show was back then. I can’t wait for your reactions. ❤

I've never really taken it that seriously tbh. 😋 For the live action I hope they do neither tbh, Katara and Zuko would be kind of lore breaking at this point because of Legend of Korra. And Aang and Katara would seem really inappropriate because of the visual age difference between Aang and Katara's actors. 😂 At least in the animated show it was less obvious because they seem of similar ages due to it being harder to show the difference between a close age gap in animation, especially in the final season they seem like they could be the same age.

i would love to see a Morgan reaction to the movie! It would absolutely be hilarious to see dani and sam join along and relive the absolute clown show the movie is

Seeing your ladies excitement is making me extra excited for this show. I’m not a hardcore Avatar fan like you gals, but I really do like the series a lot. I got a feeling this will do the series justice and but that god awful movie to shame. So much fly stuff coming out in February, can’t wait.

If I had to guess, they probably tobed down Zuko's scar to cut back on makeup application time either for the actor's sake or to speed up their shooting schedules. I know that David Hornsby gave a similar explanation for why Rickety Cricket's burn scars were toned down over time on Always Sunny, and I'd imagine that when trying do three seasons of a show that's supposed to occur over the course of a summer with child actors that can potentially age very noticeably very quickly, every minute counts in your shooting time.

Normally I'd say let's not be too hasty saying 3 seasons when the first hasn't been released yet. 😂 But I simply can't see this show failing considering the hype I've seen online and how many views the trailer got, they'd have to drop the ball REALLY bad for it to flop.

Cave of Two Lovers IS in Book 2 of ATLA...🎶SE-CRET TUNNEL🎶... The one thing I hope and has been mentioned in social media that should happen is if this series makes it to Book 3 the Ember Island Players should be portrayed by the Shamalamadingdong ovatarr movie cast members.

Omashu where Bumi city, is in season one. Ba Sing Se where the earth king city is in season two

Yeah, Zuko's scar looks more like war paint. Bending looks good too. Just hope they didn't show just the good parts...and it's consistent. Bc that can be jarring. And no Sam, we care very much that you'd be reacting to this...thank you!

His clothes actually are worn. In higher res pics you can see little bits of fraying and such, but the colors are still bright.

The Zutara ship never made sense to me, it always seemed to me that their bond was about Zuko seeing people other than Aang (The Avatar who sees pretty much the good in everyone) and Iroh (Who's family) who see that there is good in him and that he can change. Never came off as romantic to me but more like: "You know, you don't have to keep going down this path" Especially considering that darkness Katara had bottled up, which finally came out in the Southern Raiders Episode. People can ship whoever they want though. 😋 Personally I hope they leave the romance out of the show altogether, considering the visual age difference between Aang and Katara's actors, it'd look too awkward.

@@everlastingluv361 I mean there's nothing wrong with the trope, in fact it's usually the more interesting pairing imo. It's just this specific ship doesn't make sense to me since there's zero romantic vibes between the characters. 😋 It's like the Ganondorf x Zelda ship in LoZ, or Bowser x Peach in Mario games, it never made sense to me. Although that might not be a perfect comparison since Zuko obviously doesn't stay bad, he becomes good throughout the show. 😋

You should do The Legend of Korra after this live action, I'm 100% sure you guys would love it

They will have major change in the plote form compared to the animer. The plain time skip between each book because ..... the actors edging.. aang actors was 11 during the recording is now 14yold and probably 15/16 when the will do the book 2. Same for katara and soka actors . So no "you have to defeat the 🔥 lord befor the next summer"

I was excited until I found out that Netflix ran off the creators of the series.

Trailer is cool but I don't think this will be as good as M. Night Shyamalan's movie
