Holt has 22 career home runs (including the postseason), he has 0 multi-homer games, and he's hit for the cycle twice. That means 11% of his career homers have occurred while hitting for the cycle. Is that a record? It's gotta be, right?

One of my favorite swing in all of baseball, Happy retirement!
Man has 25 career home runs and twice has hit for the cycle. Guys who have hit much more have never done it. Let that sink in. I really miss Brock Holt.

Yeah that's wild, hitting for the cycle just once is one of the hardest things to do in baseball. You'd never expect a player like Holt to have two cycles.
A little over three years later, Holt would become the first player ever to hit for the cycle in the postseason, doing so in Game 3 of the ALDS against the Yankees.

The future of the Red Sox is Mookie, Xander, and JBJ. Brock's a nice utility guy, but he's not the kind of star those three are. He's also 5 years older than Mookie and Xander and 2 years older than Jackie.

I'm a Yankees fan and I don't like the Sox one bit, but the only Red Sox player I enjoy watching is Brock Holt simply because he can play anywhere and is always playing his heart out.

Hate the yankees love watching someone like Didi play though. In no way an MVP but as a kid that came in to fill in for the legend Derek jeter after struggling his first season seeing him bounce back and get better all around at playing short and now hitting across all portions of the field is crazy to me. Didi isnt like someone i specifically like to watch but players like him or someone like A.J pollack or Javy baez who really show their full potential and continue to amaze is just something to watch.
