To make the BYU name joke more believable, they should've given the player either a name like Ryker or Braxton (those names are quite common in Utah but rare everywhere else), or give him a normal name with an abnormal spelling (ie Peightonn or Mackswell). Take it from someone who graduated from BYU.

The best part about this is how you end up laughing at the name "Dan Smith".

This is arguably the worst comment in KZread history. This video was 7 years ago.... meaning, if the player you’re referring to was a freshman (even a redshirt) and opted to wait until his senior year to declare for the draft, he would now be in his 3rd of the nfl. Let’s take a look at his draft class (assuming he went to college for four years.... Miami had the 14th pick in that draft and selected a WR (DeVante Parker). Your decision to draft this fake player from the key and peele skit could have POSSIBLY fallen to Miami.... HOWEVER, there were TWO WRs taken before Parker which means EEEEEHHH or whatever his name is, would have either been drafted to the Chicago Bears, or the Oakland Raiders. I remember making fun of names of people on the Maury show and professional football with my friends back in middle/high school. Always saw a connection that people with the stupidest names ended up on one or the other eventually... :P It was amazing how reliably one could find utter naming lunacy on both. My kid is special and must therefore have a 1 of a kind name.! Johntholamew Johnald MacBesterson Smith! Now I just gotta ride this kid's life into professional sports and I have it vicariously made! _cut to Maury show_

Thorne It's a mildly racist joke about stereotypical black names. To give an example, normally, you wouldn't go into the 'hood of Detroit and expect a black person with his basketball shorts down to his knees and a car with Rims more valuable then the actual car to be named "Dan Smith"
