I can see the hieroglyphics of her name in the shape of a face 👀😮Quite incredible find and very disturbing considering where I found it😮🙈👊

Born from the earth...now means Native vs foreign born...maybe that's what it always had meant even in these ancient times. I am wondering if there has been some mis-translations of these ancient stories, maybe they were actually more realistic and logical rather than a bit nutty.... The first published book was 2,000 years ago, and the Athenians pre-date Troy.

It is definitely what it meant then too. There were strict rules of those who where and weren’t natives. Depending on the time, only those born of autochthon parents on both sides were eligible to vote for example. Apart from that the story differentiated them from the others. The Athenians prided themselves on being ‘natives’. As opposed to the Spartans who had come from across the sea and settled on the mainland. The line between what is myth and reality is not as strict. So what they would have taken we literally true or a story conveying a message is hard to separate.
