I was an athiest and had, what I now know is called, a Spiritual Awakening. It changed my life I'm not the same person I was before it happened. It was like having an NDE. It's so beautiful when you find out there God is real and we're all a part of God

@vvenomm 492 Sure, I could on and on I say it was like an NDE because in a flash my whole life changed. I was depressed, addicted to my pain meds and I didn't believe in God, I was miserable and 1 more thing happened, it's too long to get into, but I think I had a breakdown then it was like somebody turned on a light and for a second I was the universe I was love, that's what I experienced and I understood that was God, we're all part of God. It's hard to explain the feeling but I was euphoric for abt 5 mnths, my depression and addiction went away I felt like I was vibrating. I always had, and still do, hv my tv on utube and these sites started coming on that I'd never seen before and didnt search for that's how I found out that what happened to me was a spiritual awakening. It sounds crazy, my family called me crazy and I had never heard of a sp. awkning before and I asked everybody I know and they sd they havn't either. It happened in Nov of 2019, and I've learned so much since then about meditation, consciousness, reincarnation... and I know I didn't believe in God before because all I knew about God was what I heard in church and it never made sense to me. Everything Eckard Eckard Tolle, Dwayne Dyer, Alan Watts and what everybody who's had a NDE talk about are the truth, to me anyway. So much more happened in that 1st 5 months it was absolutely beautiful. Have you experienced an awakening or had an NDE?

Wow, that sounds similar to what I went through. I had a profoundly deep, direct knowledge that I was completely loved, and felt embraced by pure consciousness and light - like I was completely known, connected, part of everything. I had been a strong atheist, but after that it made so much sense to me when various Hindus, Buddhists, indigenous Aussies, Christians, Jews, Muslims and others I spoke to shared their experience of divine love or higher self or whatever term they chose to use for being connected to transcendent love.

I had a car crash in 2010, i was died and return to life, i saw angel, and saw heavan, angel took me from a bottom of my car and took me thrue the big space, dark and big, i was fliying high in the sky, i saw my dead body in the car, i didnt knew yet that i'm dead, then he told me, come with me, dont worry everything will be okey, i flight very fast, this angel was so beautiful, very white, very shining like a diamond, angel was light, no eyes no details, nether woman or man, just big lightning smile, with big peace and love feeling, he took me thrue a tunnel, big long and dark tunnel, i was terrified, and saw all my life existence, my family, my birth very fastier before getting dead, then i knew i was dead, and boom, a big and a wonderfull lightning place, undescriptible place, i was looking like from a big window, it was heavan, angel showed me a big two beautiful rivers moving, near to a big beautiful tree moving also, with a lovely colorfull birds, on my right side. On my left side, i saw a couple of angels with two kids, smiling and in divine happiness, and saw a source of water, and a big source of light, its not like a sun , it was very powerfull but not sun, it dosent hurt eyes, no warm, no hot, no cold, i was smiling and very happy there, all were withness and green colorfull spaces, all was moving and biggest, all was lightness and beautifull, there was no crying, no screaming, just peace and love, i felt a big and an unconditionnal love there, there was no feeling of time or spaces, all is moving there like a big and magic samophony, then a divine voice of this angel asked me to welcome a hug of this big tree, he told me: this is a tree of knowldege, take some of, i saw a big tree coming twards me then like he gaving me a big hug, i felt very full of new things. Then a divine voice told me : this will be your place anyway, if you accept to live with your new body and accept your illness, if you accept it, it will be your place . So my soul sad yes, i was very happy, then, the divine voice sad to me: so now, return to your body, return to life. Then i do. And from that time, i cry everyday, missing a beautifull place i've seen, i'm not anymore the same person, i live with illeness now, but very happy to have been there, heavan exist, god is too much love and love us more than anything, angels are so beautifull, lovely and magic. And i wish this place to Every believer on this earth even persons who dont believe, i cry so much for them, if only people knew what heavan is, they will cry every day all there existence. And they will understand that material life is just an illusion, heavan is more real than material life. Heavan is big, and undescriptible, a lovely and divine place where souls are in happiness and love forever. Angels are so beautifull, they are made of light, a powerfull shining light, they are just love and peace like god. I felt love of god there, and now i live with those beautifull memories of my travel, and waiting and working to get there very soon i hope.

I have personally had a NDE, which was also an OBE (out of body experience). As soon as I came out of my body, I noticed how calm and peaceful it was. I was completely at peace. I knew I was accepted, and I was sensing perfect unconditional love. Then came the time when I knew I was in the presence of the Source, the Divine, the Great Spirit, God, the Universal Consciousness, or whatever someone chooses to call this. This is the most loving, caring, kindest, and gentlest entity I have ever encountered. An incredibly beautiful experience. The last thing I experienced before returning to my body was what I call the Oneness. Sort of like the oneness of the universe, or the oneness of everything, I just knew in the spiritual sense, that everything is one. I returned to my body right after this, and after many years, I'm still here to relate my experience. In my view, the overwhelming majority of people will be just fine in the afterlife. So, there is no reason to fear death or the unknown. Just do the best you can with your Earthly human lives, and don't worry about what happens after physical death.

What a poetic journey I just took listening to her story! What a beautiful voice! I am speechless. Two of my friends died and had afterlife experiences. My friend, Louis, had his deceased family members come to him. His mother chased him back insisting his work was not done. Ten years later, my other friend Sheila died three times in the hospital. She later said Jesus came to her three times. She didn't know she died three times. This time, I was ready and I recorded her immediately. It is sheila shaw NDE part 1. Watching this, I became emotional when I heard about her baby at the end. Life is so much larger than we can possibly imagine. Love, forgiveness, and kindness are universal truths for those who belong to our Holy God. Wow! Thank you for having the courage to share this. And thank you IANDSVideos for sharing this!

It's exactly why I'm nowhere near ready to be interviewed about my experience. I've already been discounted and dismissed by someone I love dearly. They were a big part of what I was shown concerning my life and her's and all of our lives. She was part of my experience, and it's really hurt me deeply. It's HARD to talk about these things. I don't understand why someone would want to falsify this unless they're on a mission from a cult-like oppressive and abusive Church and justifying lying to pound fear, fire, and Brimstone into the world because their dogma and doctrine has made them mentally ill. It's NOT ALL SUNSHINE AND RAINBOWS when you come back. I'm struggling with A LOT...depression, grief, a new highly empathic "gift" that makes everyone's emotions my own...even hopelessness, despair, shame, guilt...Take it easy on these folks. We aren't here to judge them. They'll be plenty of time to judge ourselves when the time comes. We can be our own worst critic. We're supposed to Love, help, and uplift each other. Not hurt them.

  • @lmergenti

    @lmergenti

    3 жыл бұрын

@@ReligionAndMaterialismDebunked A couple of things might be helpful: 1) You are not in control of, or responsible for your experience (what you feel). But you are in control of, and responsible for what you do. So don't strive for any particular experience. Allow what is, to come to you. And whatever experience comes your way, don't judge it. Experiences are neither good nor bad. Aim to feel what already is -- all the physical sensations in your body -- even if it's uncomfortable. Feel fully and without judgment, and without acting upon what you feel. Just observe. Allow whatever happy thoughts, negative thoughts, or ridiculous thoughts that appear before you, to just pass by like clouds in a breeze. Don't be harsh on yourself. Treat yourself kindly. The action you take is: practice regularly, and dispassionately. Practice, practice, practice. 2) Not all meditation techniques are created equal. The technique of meditation is extremely particular and requires a teacher who has mastered it so that you can be properly guided. It cannot be self-taught. The technique of meditation and the teacher are inseparably intertwined. That's why the clinical practice of technique alone does not get anyone very far. It's like trying to walk with one leg. Dr. Peyton herself found this out. Go back to the 18:30 mark in Dr. Peyton's video where she has understood this. And always remember: Even after you are properly taught, there is an ongoing need for guidance because it's so very easy to get confused and de-railed. Sorry. I know most people don't want to hear that, but it's the truth. So find your teacher .. or better yet.. let your teacher find you. You will know it's the right teacher when you meet that person. Good luck! And never give up! What you are seeking is not only possible but it's your birthright. Namaste my friend

Some people write and communicate in a different fashion than many of us, it doesn't imo mean they are not authentic or truthful, just always wanting to appear professional and polished. I've worked with doctors for 23 years and some of them might be confused as being from another planet, and they've been this way all of their lives, just who they are. Dr. Peyton's story strongly resembles others that are far less polished and more like ourselves that we do believe on this channel. I believe her and grateful for her sharing.

It's hard to believe the amount of people in these comments discarding her experience based on their religious beliefs. That seems backwards to me. You have to use experiences to inform your beliefs, and be honest about your (our) ignorance. Also saying "only this path towards spiritual development should be taken" says more about your fears than about the creator of the universe, for whom billions of paths may be equally valid and precious. Life seems to indicate that, since we can certainly see that we have a very large degree of freedom in terms of what avenues we can take to grow. Do you know the absolute truth, or are you afraid of your ignorance and what that may mean for you? And invoking a religious figure's name as a way to shut down people who think differently than you is disrespectful both to that figure and to the person you are speaking to.

Fact is we don’t understand anything at all not even water, but we have people preaching about their beliefs being the correct one. There is, however, such a massive amount of data, meaning tens of thousands of records of NDEs, spanning some 40 years, spanning all cultures, that these experiences are statistically significant and cannot be ruled as in any way delusionary. @@lukeparnell742 There's no such thing as Christ consciousness.... that's a made-up concept from the new age spirituality movement. I was into it for decades and read 'the Power of Now' and a lot of other stuff from "gurus" & teachers & enlightened masters from the east & west so I know it well. It's deception. It picks & chooses the verses from Jesus & the Bible that it likes, takes them out of context, and then ignores everything else it doesn't like. What's worse is that Jesus prophesied that people would end up doing that with His words and that they would lead many astray, yet people just keep right on following this false new age Christ (aka antichrist). The devil knows how the human mind & heart works and what people want to believe about life & God and he mirrors it back to us. And this is exactly why it's going to be so easy to get people to take the mark of the beast and to worship the image of the antichrist because they'll believe whatever they're told as long as they like the way it sounds. ....It's good to keep an open mind, too... just not so open that your brain falls out. You have to have discernment. And when it comes to the new age spirituality movement, the only discernment people have is between what they like and what they don't like. Truth doesn't factor into the situation.

@@kathymravintz9218 I agree with you. I have been intrigued by credible NDE experiencer who after seeing and being stongly convinced by what they see, come back and recommend Normal Meditation. One Highly respected Atheist doctor was even told to reveal to Humanity what he learned but my problem with his instructions, was that he was to reveal in appointed time. He also was required to keep certain information secret. My take on this is that it is possible that, having been given a second chance by God, Satan who is perfectly aware of both realms(and was probably waiting to harvest the souls of such atheist individuals but got dissapointed ) embarks on immediate plan to deceive and steal that Chance by derailing the lessons learnt from the experience. As far as I am concerned and would freely recommend to everyone, is the meditation offered by deep Prayers of the Lord Father and Creator of the universe, the Holy spiritt and His Son Jesus Christ. The beauty of following this path is that there is no fine text. The path to Him is open, clear and the requirements laid bare by the holy Bible text. I once tried out of the Body Experience after reading a Book by an Isreali Jew Uri Genner (Not sure of the spelling) and I assure you it is absolutely real but even as a young man in his twenties back then (1980's), I could detect some Satanic flavor. While ,While in the very early stages of OBE meditation, I came out of the body and somehow my form (spirit?) uncontrollably, drifted to a room sitting a young boy of about 10 years old. I seemed to enter from the corrugated Iron sheet roof and I saw the boy look at "me" . He gave out the most blood cuddling scream I have ever heard in my life. My spirit , hurriendly went back and re-etnered my body and came out of the meditative state. The boys scream coming out from about 150 meters away could still be heard. Neigbors were frantically trying to calm the boy and finding out what was the problem. I never dared to come because I didn't know wether I looked the same in the spirit and Physical form I look the same from the perspective of another person. Since it was about 10:00pm, I am sure had I rushed out to join the crowd in our usual spirit of spirit of vigilante and somehow, the boy associated that form with me, I would have been lynched by a mob. That is what we do here in Kenya if the Police don't happen to be around. That left me with no illusion as to what the source of this "Knowledge" was. Further, I was in the middle of a dilemma of a sentence in the book that said something to the effect that if you grossed the threshhold of learning past the Chaper I was reading and practicing, you will never be able to reverse. That lite the Danger signal very brightly. I asked myself two profound Questions. If this thing is from God, how can he take our freewill away. Secondly, How long will I never be able to stop it, is it eternity? That scred me to the core. I burnt the book and I no longer enertain any deliberate active search for any supernatural experience. However, I wholly welcome and embrace any that comes 'naturally' e.g NDE, unexpected angelic encounters or miracles whether after prayers or just unexpected. This I believe, Is God Manifesting His love for us.

I agree Sharyn; and I believe that our spiritual evolution is accomplished through many existences, and along the journey we are heirs to our deeds, or as the bible puts it, we reap what we sow. This make more sense to me than that the whole of our eternity is based upon just one brief life, especially since those lives are so varied. Beliefs, doctrine and dogma are not important; the only thing that matters is how we live each life, doing as much good and least harm as we can. There are as many paths to the divine source as there are those who seek it, and ultimately, we shall ALL reach the pinnacle.

“Home…” I participated in an 8-week mindfulness counsel, lead by two MSW’s who’d trained with Jon Kabat-Zinn in Boston. We learned several types of meditation. For me, their renditions of body scans were surreal, esp. “the mountain”. One of our walking meditations brought us, barefoot, down to a big babbling brook in the woods. We were to let our hearts lead our feet and remain silent, avoiding eye contact with each others. After hearing the bell signal to start our return up the hill to the circle, I intentionally dragged my feet, letting all the others go ahead. As the last person by the water, I was startled when I heard a voice next to me say, clear as day, “come home”. I jumped and look to my right but no one was there. I was completely alone. When I shared that with the group later that evening, every mouth fell open, including the counselors’. While meditating at home alone once, I found I was suddenly hovering above my body looking down at myself and everything in the room. It scared me so I snapped out of it and haven’t meditated solo since. If I hadn’t been alone I think I might have gone for a short ride to see where it took me. When I shared these experiences with friends and family, they thought I was a lunatic but that’s ok. They’ll see for themselves someday. I know “it’s still there” for whenever I want to revisit (after rehoning my meditation practice skills of course).

It is not a matter of whether one believes in a “God” or not!! These people are telling their experiences, we can just listen if we choose to or not, believe their experiences or not. If we choose to believe in a supreme being/God or not is OK with me as long as we let people live their lives and not interfere with others! Wish you all the best in life. From lady in Ireland!

This is such a beautiful and intelligent presentation. The experience of unconditional love and light is very consistent across all nationalities, and show that God is above limitations of any religion and yet...for some reasons, people who have no idea what this experience is about, still crawl from their limiting life experiences and doubt everything that does not align with the religious limited beliefs. That just shows how conditioned and stuck humans are.

Lots of NDE people telling us the similar things they experienced . Some just used the name or word in different way due to their culture and beliefs. Many saying they were out their own body and looking down to their own body and seeing and hearing everything those doctors doing and speaking. Later one the doctors had to admit that was they said and did, while their eyes were all shut and no more heart beeping and no more Brain activity . Now I truly believe that we never die, in our conscious and spirits, we do come back to another body again and again just to learn the lesson we need to learn. Once we understand how our soul is, we can decide come back here or not. I don’t want to come back here again, I want to stay at our true home: our source.

@@SeekingI well her occupation doesn't add any Epistemic value to her Interpretations. That is a argument from false authority fallacy. Our interpretations on an experience involving a death threatening event and a malfunctioning brain are not a product of scientific evaluation that can be Objectively studied and analyzed. It's more of us unconsciously using our emotions and Philosophical biases to ease the anxiety created by a really close call our existence had . There is no way to study and analyze Scientifically an experience that has to do with impressions of our brain in the past.
