1799 universities are ranked in the.list and UP, DLSU and Mapua are in lower half. Not something to be proud of. Ateneo is in top 1/4. Very good but not really excellent. Nevertheless, we all know Ateneo, UP, DLSU are the top universities in the country with better qualities of education compared to hundreds of others. What should be done is not to make "good education" exclusive only to selected few but to make them accessible to most Filipinos. It will be good for the country if all,or most, will receive quality education. Screw the competition.

There's no sense in ranking these schools unless the whole Philippine economy improves at a large scale. Imagine graduating and applying for a 9-5 job that pays less than 20k each month at a 50% probability of being hired. Salary for degree and license holders should even start at 75k php.

Let me tell you a secret to get a good paying job. Lakasan mo loob mo at i hone ang communication skills mo para pag interview madali ka makapasa. MOst of Top Unis I know okay ang comm skills ng mga graduates nila. More likely magaling sila mag English. Im an undergrad and earns more than the amount you mentioned because of the privilege we have here in the country. Nagsimula ako sa BPOs bago ma hire sa tech company na based in Germany

@@jeffwong46 Well, she mentioned Germany, a first world country. Tech/IT services provider companies give such amount specially if you got lots of certifications. Just here in the Philippines, I worked as Cisco Engineer catering to the US clients and the income increases as you get more globally-recognized certifications. Her claim is not far from the truth so don't be disheartened. You can also enjoy that if you are determined and fully-equipped with the right skills and right mindset. All the best. 😘

That's good although I can attest that even cheap schools that basically have no tuition fee can produce top graduates. Some times they can even be more hardworking because they're striving to build their families up from poverty unlike those who come from already rich families.

Siyempre top ranking ito. Ikaw ba naman ang magbigay ng honorary degree kay Madumb at Ressa.
