Jose's mention of Treasure matching Pirate King in the scenery is relevant. Pirate King and Treasure were Ateez's double track debut songs, so it was produced and filmed simultaneously. That way when people started listening to them and started standing them in early days, they would see different sides of ateez from the debut. Pirate King bring more energetic and based arounf the rap, and Treasure being more mellow and vocal heavy, specifically with Jongho being the lead for the chorus

ughhhh, the nostalgia i got from rewatching 'Promise' for the first time in years... like wow. it was filmed while ATEEZ attended Russia during their tour in 2019, and my friend even got the chance to see them behind the scenes of the shooting and to shake hands with Hongjoong😆 miss the old good days

treasure is a grower for sure. I personally despised it and pirate king which is why I never really got into Ateez but now pirate king is pretty okay for me and I LOVEEEE treasure it's one of the few Ateez songs I have on repeat lolol

I'm glad I got to see it at least once before it was taken off the tour setlist! bc when they took it off the Break the Wall tour set list I was devastated that I wouldn't be seeing that performance again. Precious is in my top 5 fave ateez songs 🥹

You should watch the MV for Don't Stop, it's entirely just lore. They released it as part of a deal with this app Universe, and the app eventually shut down so the MV was deleted, but there are people who saved the MV and posted it still, there's one with good video quality on dailymotion. Someone posted one to KZread but it's stuck at 480p for that post.

Your videos started to show up to me and when I clicked on the first one that appeared you guys instantly talked about another reaction then I stopped, when to your channel and searched for the playlist and I just finished how many hours it was for all ateez reaction videos you guys have. And I adore you. It's been a lot of fun seeing your videos, and I instantly thought about what you guys would think of Don't Stop, Rocky, Paradigm and The King. And obviously, Win. As someone said in another comment, Don't Stop doesn't have an official mv nowadays, but even if it's just a lyric video, I'm sure you'd enjoy it. Rocky (boxer version) and Paradigm are japanese releases, and the king is a japanese b-side, but it's one of their best songs in the whole discography, if I say so myself. Win is an iconic song that everyone should listen a least once in their lifetime. And there's a video just like the Mist one, official from a concert. Now, going to more vocal heavy songs, Utopia is a fan favorite and one if their best, and just like rocky, there's a korean version, but its MV it's a japanese release. Be with You and Still Here are my top two of them, both slower and more vocal then upbeat. Dazzling Light, Light and Sunrise are good recommendations too. To the Beat, Django, Wake me Up and Arriba are for sure songs you'd like and instantly put on your playlists. Take me Home is tied with Cyberpunk as one of their best b-sides ever, and before Cyberpunk was released, it was alone in first place, so you should definitely check it out too. I hope I'll see your next reaction to them soon 💕

After watching both your Ateez and p1harmony reactions I KNOW you'll like Xikers. They're from KQ too and debuted last year but their 3rd EP is already coming March 8. Since they're new there's only 4 MVs: -TRICKY HOUSE(debut title track) -ROCKSTAR -DO or DIE -HOMEBOY But there's also an official performance video for Koong and 2 'Special Videos' for Run and Sunny Side. If you're okay with watching stages XIKEY is AMAZING to get their vibe and energy.

While Wooyoung wasn't wearing braids like you first thought, Hongjoong was, not only in this video, but the promotional materials for this comeback showed him wearing blue cornrows. As you can imagine, many people were upset by this. KQ Entertainment issued an apology statement, which many thought was only performative. Hongjoong also spoke about it in interviews, and promised to be more aware and educate himself so this doesn't happen again, and a lot of people felt like he actually was being sincere. At the very least, it was a lot more than most K-pop companies and idols do when they've been called out for cultural appropriation. In fact, it may have been the only time when a K-pop idol (not just the company) spoke openly about the situation. Most idols just ignore it, maybe forced into silence by their companies, who knows. But it is so often ignored. K-pop is known for blending different genres of music and style, and it's one of the reasons why so many people love it. But it becomes problematic when elements are borrowed without proper acknowledgment or understanding of their cultural significance. Discussions about cultural appropriation and cultural sensitivity are needed, and I hope the artists, agencies, and fans are able to engage in healthy dialogue around the subject more than they have in the past.

​@@loen1z To me they look like braids (it's more obvious in the 'THANXX' Official MV Making Film video) but even if they were dreadlocks, the issue is still the same. And the cornrows I was referring to that he wore for the promotional photos can be found by doing an internet search for "Hongjoong cornrows" and you'll see what I'm talking about. KQ made this mistake with artists even before ATEEZ (Zico from Block B), so they should have known better. Hopefully the way they addressed it this last time is a sign of progress within the company. 💖

And what better way to do so than with these incredible performances. First up, Symphony No.9 From the wonderland, Kingdom live. Then, I'm obliged to tell you about Cyberpunk live, the version of the Fellowship: break the wall in Oakland San Francisco.
