Ataru: Accelerations
Ataru has a great many accelerations . They combine the use of the three main Ataru concepts: su ma (rotation), mu gee (jumping), and go g'wa (running).
The first level of accelerations are the basis for many advance techniques.
There is a large physical aspect of Ataru training and one must be careful not to give in to impatience and move in slow increments. As one improves, the level of practice can rise.
Do not attempt these accelerations before you have mastered the basic skills of the Ataru formula.
