House V is a testament to the interplay between full and empty architectural spaces. This design choice allows for a light and fluid structure, supported by a metal canopy that shields from Lombok's heavy rain and intense sun.
The house is both a masterpiece and a practical, efficient space. This meticulous design ensures that every aspect of the home serves a purpose, making it truly livable. All rooms face southward, offering stunning views of the Indian Ocean.
The wooden panels that structure the house can be seamlessly opened to invite the surroundings in or closed for more private moments. The open design, maximizing views from every part of the house, is complemented by the contrast of dark Ulin wood, sand-colored cement floors, and simple straight lines, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere.
