My favourite poem by Rudyard Kipling was always "My Boy Jack." What I find interesting about him is that even by the 1910's, the man felt very out of place, like the world was forgetting him and his ilk, despite the fact that I think he always tried to be relatively contemporary. He was a product of mid-Victorian, conservative thinking (even though he was too young to really remember it), but was always an outsider for his time in many aspects. I can only imagine what he must have thought would happen to both England and the rest of the world by the 30's, in his last days. I really like how you read this. I think your reading vids are underrated

Thank you! I really enjoy making narration videos, I shall continue to do so regardless of how many/few views they get... staying in the same line of Victorian ghost/horror/creepy tales for the foreseeable future. :) Thanks for that point about Kipling.... goodness, it's sad to think of what he would feel about the state of things nowadays... :(
