I loved watching Get Christie Love as a child. She came down that escalator in the intro to the show. Groundbreaking is right. This was the 70s.

"Get Christy Love" was based on a true story. The head of the female detectives in NYC was a Black woman, the late Detective Olga Ford. She was honored that they flew her out to California to help coach Teresa Graves. (Detective Ford brought down one of the most in- famous Drug Lords, without using a gun!
