I grew up listening to Alan Jackson so it's hard to name just one of my favorite Alan Jackson songs but rather he's still doing music anymore or not he'll always be my favorite country singer

Alan has made some of the greatest country music ever along with George Jones, George Strait, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson and countless others. Living with CMT is no joke. I do everyday and it's tough the way it affects the function of your body. We find ways to adjust and move on best we can to keep going. Saw Alan at the CA mid estate Fair 20 or so years ago. Loved him then, love him niw. So sad he's lost that great voice. Had all his CDs on my MP player!

I love his songs but Where Were you( when the World Stopped Turning) really touched my heart. Sissy's sing is about a friend who died too young & I can associate with that. The Older I Get is so me as I too get older. & Racing the Dark has helped me since i lost my husband.

I like him mostly for his efforts to keep his music "country." REAL country music is pretty much gone. I never even listen to mainstream radio anymore because there is NO country music on it. I listen to one station that plays oldies. And just listen to my playlist which is full of the REAL stuff. I think my favorite song by this guy is LOVES GOT A HOLD ON YOU.
