Whilst spending more time indoors over the whole COVID-19 situation, I decided to record a song I wrote a little while ago.
Hope you enjoy it, and stay safe ❤️

Hey guys, I’m Rabea. I'm the lead guitarist in Toska, Frog Leap & Dorje where I write music, make songs and have a great time with my mates. I also have my own line of guitars with Chapman Guitars, and I’ve designed numerous products with some really cool companies, such as the Victory Amps VX Kraken. Anyway, i hope you enjoy my videos, thank you for watching!

It's very cliche to say, but you can absolutely speak through your guitar. It's the most magical thing I've ever heard in my life. To be able to compose an electric guitar song with nothing but the guitar and a few ambient effects is complete mastery of an instrument and song writing. You're the best Rabea and thank you for sharing.

You have no idea what this song means to me at this point in my life. I have had it on repeat the last few days since you released it to google play music. You know when you have a really emotional moment and a song plays and you can no longer listen to it anymore because the pain is too strong, or one that reminds you of a time when good times were had. This songs the perfect blend of both for me. I've been through hell the last week and I'm sat here crying in relief. this song is going to stick with me for life I can feel it. As a muscian myslf this is something I strive to do, reach that one person. You have just done this for me. At some point I would love to explain what you have just done for me, but for now let me have this moment.

A year on I still listen to this song with the memory of that time. I have a playlist on spotify now and this song is the first one in that list which I've called "Neck hairs". Because it makes them stand on end. You are still an inspiration to my writing and I listen to it every so often with a great regret and sorrow for the past experience. But the meaning in this tune has changed for me. The intelligent emotional content you bring us is cherished by thousands, I'm sure of it.

Perfectly beautiful. Firstly, I think this captures the sadness we all feel about what's happening to the world right now, and secondly, there's something about the opening 60 seconds which speaks to your roots. Hey, if being shut off and closed in gives us this, then every cloud does in fact have a silver lining. Best wishes to anyone out there suffering losses, and hardship.

Doesn't he figure out some chord progressions that sound good, and then add some arpeggios and lead bits to flesh it out? What are you hoping to see in a tutorial? Just a list of effects and pedals that are being used? My only question is, do you record to a click track with songs that lack any percussion? When I did my first amateur recordings I'd just play to my own time, but then I found that just 'winging it' makes it VERY difficult to add overdubs...

Man, that's awesome! Makes me think of a cinematic in a game like Dark Souls or Nier. A yellow sunset in a quiet coastal village. The wind slowly picks up, lightning is heard off in the distance as a storm is brewing out on the ocean. The town bells ring hauntingly over the rising gale. The storm breaks over head and slowly drowns out the fading guitar as the last rays of golden sunlight disappear behind the clouds.

I’m a new dad, and this song is my 7 month daughters new favorite lullaby and totally calms her down. Thank you for releasing this on Spotify! I discovered you through your work on Anderton’s and that pedal show - I’m not a big metal head but your ambient work and your thoughtful product reviews have made me a huge fan. I am so so hopeful for a complete album expressing your more “modalling” style of music (calling it ambient feels like an intense oversimplification). Much love from Sam Francisco.

If there any options to put more " thumb like ", i will put as many as i can. I got you know from jared dines djent colab. video, and i see you playing some riffs like " whoa, this is i want ". Then, for the first time, go to your channel, listening 2 of your video, and, bruh, just can't do nothing. You got me. And this, this, asylum, just simple as that. The feeling, the soul, honestly, can't say no more. Amazing work, rabeaa.. keep it on! 👊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Songs like this is why I Subscribed. As guitarists we all have a reason for playing that goes deeper than learning a song we heard as kids. We keep playing to find that zen moment that allows us to speak from the heart without saying any words. You definitely reach me when you play songs like this and Illumno. Keep the discussion going and I will keep listening
