Some tips about settings? I use it for PS4 and, I don't know, I think I have some problems when I play. I use trace free 60, fps mode and vivid pixel 25 (no elmb, no freesync because of is a PS4 fat) and when I play don't seem smooth enough.

Hello mate, would you help me to troubleshoot my monitor? When using built-in loudspeakers only left is playing. Jack gives two channels sound, only built-in's. I tried Xbox as well, same problem. Like there is no speaker. Just run one of those tests on YT where you can check left anf right channel and let me know if you can. Thanks in advance

i have the VG24VQE but the speakers are not working, tried every solution on google but nothing working.. the monitor jack works with headphones but not the built in speakers. any help ?

I had zero issues with ELMB and I think anyone who grew up with CRT will have no issues.

Is there any noticable smearing affect while scrolling up and down on the websites with dark backgrounds. I am on the fence with buying this model as I want a VA panel more than IPS and that is my main concern as I use to type a lot with black backgrounds.

What do you think of the TUF GAMING VG24VQE model I can't find rivew of the model anywhere except on the official page of Asus and how rare it is with almost the same characteristics as the one you present up to 165 hz but at 179 dollars I'm confused I don't know if to buy it or not

Right now its going for way cheaper for what's available right now. 1080p is Ethier out of stock of high 200-300 cause of the christmas hype. However this monitor is going on newegg right now for 179.99 (although it is out of stock but I got mine before it did)

You still see some but it is noticeably smaller than a normal monitor, I think we would need a 360zh+ monitor to reduce motion blur altogether.

@@voldek32167 It's not huge on the monitor. It's actually not even noticeable. I don't know why u lie man. I am playing hades and no dark smearing or ghosting. I play Valorant and CS:GO. Literally no ghosting and dark smearing. VA panels improved SO MUCH in tha last years it's crazy. The vg32vqr I have is 8ms response time. They call it the dethroner of the odyssey g7 which is 9ms response time. I am very happy with mine. This is the best VA panel monitor you can get right now.

Did you get the 27 inch? It's only because I have a small desk and I need to get a smaller monitor :)

Buy the vg24vqe it’s almost the same but 165hz In my opinion 165hz is better for the long term maybe if you get a pc later

amigo i bought the monitor its f amazing i find it better then my msi mag24cv the color on the asus is incredible and gameplay is freaking awesome response time f qieck 144 hz msi had pixel problems this one doesnt the asus also can be changed in portrait thats f good and it can go sideways 90 degres and can go up and f down what more do you want for that price

I would give elmb a try and see what you prefer, although personally I'd rather have free sync enabled. Otherwise depends what you feel its missing?

I bought mine for $180 at Microcenter about a year or 2 years ago. Edit: Ha! Just realized this video is from 2 years ago. But, yeah it wasn't priced more than $180.

NO! Don’t buy a monitor over 60hz just for the sake of watching videos and using discord. There is absolutely no reason to get a high hz monitor just for that.

I got one today for around 170€ for use with my xbox series X, need to try differences between ELMB on and off to see how it affects playing in Warzone for example, I might update my comment later tomorrow.

@@christophermyers6658 display is great but you can have only 1 thing enabled, freesync or elmb, freesync is the obvious choice. Great picture but, I am happy I didn't go for other trying to save few bucks, Asus is Asus... I use it as third option for playing multiplayer games only, I got other 4k Monitor and 4k TV for Singleplayer games.

I bought aoc 24g2u and I do not have enough color saturation, they look pale somehow. I dug into the monitor menu, but this did not help. I think I will change it to this monitor, but I'm not sure if this will fix the situation

@@gintama3149 I never bought that one mate. Opted for a Benq mobiuz . 24" 1080p 120hz. Playing warezone at 120 frames is stunning. Noticing ppl miles away. Hard to explain but games at 120fps. Just feel smooth as fook.

thanks for the review i love it, i have question for ELMB when i shut down PC or restart PC my ELMB goes OFF so i need to turn it ON again in OSD is that normal?!

Keep the monitor on rest mode ..like don't shut it down just keep it on energy saving mode when you turn off your pc

You should probably go with a 1440p 144hz monitor with that setup because thats overkill for FullHD (1080p).

It might be because it is more of a problem with IPS panels. It can happen with VA panel as well but it got other primary concerns of its own rather than sharing the same exact issues with the IPS technology.

no , this monitor has hdmi 1.4 wish can only output a maximum of 120hz 1920x1080p the only hdmi that support 144hz is 2.0 wish can only be found on high-end very expensive monitors

Really frickin wish that companies would stop lying about response times on monitors, you report 5 or 6ms, while amazon reports 1!

Just bought it at 229 €. I wanted a 24" FHD monitor with 144Hz refresh ratio. Only from the brands Alienware, Asus or Samsung. Thus, I want to believe that I've made a good choice.
