After three years using it, it's been awesome so far. HOWEVER bear in mind it's almost impossible to find replacement ear cushions.

Liked and subbed. One question please. Are the ear cushions removable? After months of gaming with the headsets on, the cushions get smelly. This is more prominent during summer or in tropical countries. I normally remove and wash them. Bought back up ear cushions. That's what I do to my SteelSeries Arctis 5 Headset.

Hey man great video. Do you know the exact measurements of the ear holes? I'm worried that these won't fit properly over my ears, and due to covid I can't test them anywhere. Any info would be much appreciated, thanks.

Hi Aleksandar! I took a rough measurement, and the ear holes appear to be ~1.5" wide by ~2.5" tall at their widest points. The actual foam of the ear cup itself is ~0.5" thick. I hope this helped!

So my computer has two 3.5 cm aux plugs 1 for sound and 1 for the mic but I can only plug it into on at a time which causes no sound or no mic I have had to buy a aux adapter so I can plug it into both but now I have echo and I was just wondering how that would work with this headset because I don’t want to use the adapter and get echo: btw I have a predator Orion 3000 thanks in advance

Hi Juggnotz! My name is Driggsy - Luckyshots is another member on the ROG Stream Team :D It looks like the Go Core is the wired-only version of this headset. The Go 2.4 is the wireless version. Hope this helps!

If your phone has a USB-C port, you will be able to plug in the wireless 2.4 GHz dongle and listen to your phone's audio. Otherwise, you can use the 3.5mm cable to plug it into your device.

you can't with asus, you need 3 different dongles but i know that you can connect with razer

This is the "Electro Punk" version that features pink highlights. The normal version of this headset has silver accents.

stay away from this headset, i got the normal color, and they disconnect and reconnect for 3-5 sec, i ask some people on youtube that made review on them, confirm they got this issues , i did install the new and old firmware, try usb-c back-front, usb 3.0-3.1, if you like to be angry you can buy them, on asus support nobody is help me, i will never ever buy asus headsets again! rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?119872-ROG-Strix-Go-2-4-random-disconnect-and-reconnect-in-3-sec

I think this was a paid review. They felt plasticy, direct opposite to what you mentioned .somewhat cheap because of the plasticy feeling, like a bit fragile compared to other headsets I've had. The good thing about it was it has someone normal noise cancelling for a wireless headset. Other than the earmuffs feel good, the other things such as the band and everything felt plasticy.

@@Arcamea I don't mean to hate, it's just that I bought this, and it kind of is the opposite on some points. Compared to my other headsets, it feels plasticy, and I felt as well as others who reviewed, that the sound quality is ok, just not on par with the price of the headset. Noise cancelling is ok.

I noted the one possible con of the synthetic leather only ear cup design at 4:19, but in my honest opinion I think that has to be the only con.
