I had always thought Asturias was a classical piece but the tempo combines so well into flamenco.

I was learning both classical & flamenco from a master, I saw him play this, very difficult piece to play, you play it very well & in tune with the flamenco dancer. Sadly I can no longer play, if I continue will need major hand surgery.

@@WulfinLieske I had been working on my tremolo for Recuerdos De La alhambra & it was starting to sound fluent. I was also playing romance with tremolo & arpeggio. I got a common problem with guitar players, trigger finger in the left index finger & arthritis at the joint at the base of the the thump where it joins the palm. It was a hobby not a profession so its not so bad.

Awesome and outstanding performance. The Flamenco interpretation does indeed make sense, because la leyenda Asturias clearly has bulerias roots (12 bar compas and accents on 12, 3, 6, 8, 10) - which are much easier to discover than any supposed Celtic or regional Asturian influence. By the way everybody can hear and see how great it works. Thx a lot!
