40年ほど前、初めて彼女のアルバム買いました。高校時代です。私は元来バーブラ・ストライサンドの様な歌唱力溢れるヴォーカリストが好みだったのですが、彼女のこの「気取らず何気に歌ってる」感の心地よさが、逆に胸にぐっと迫って、ある種のカルチャー・ショックを受けました。そして、生涯決して忘れない唯一無二の歌手の一人となりました。長らく表舞台での活躍のないままでしたし、昨日の訃報は寂しい限りでした。心よりお悔やみ申し上げます。

Love her!!!! (Not all in the US have their heads up their butts).

When I heard her version of " The Shadow of your Smile" , I was instantly enamored by her unique voice and rendition of the song. I became her fan and I discovered other bossa nova artists like my other great favorite Antonio Carlos Jobim , Joao Gilberto and Stan Getz, to name a few. Now, four decades later, I am still a fan.Thank you for this upload and thak you, beautiful Astrud!

I definitely love Astrud...her voice so fit the type of Songs She sings...Bossa Nova. Voice has calmness, and alluring in a way that makes you feel good inside.❤❤❤

Requiem Maravilloso medio, que me permite decir lo que pienso, o sea lo que me da la gana gracias a la libertad que proporciona y su accesibilidad. El 5 de junio de 2023 se apagó la voz que abrió caminos con potente sencillez a una parte gigante de la expansión de los ritmos brasileños al mundo entero. [ Astrud Evangelina Weinert ]; Conocid como “Astrud Gilberto”; La Chica de Ipanema. Crecí escuchando sus canciones. Quizá las generaciones de hoy no les suene su nombre. Sin embargo sus interpretaciones corrieron el mundo entero y todos los músicos e historiadores sabemos quién fue. Poseía unas bases extraordinarias.
