This is our first documentary since our call for more Patrons last month and the response has been incredible. Our increased funding allowed us to invest in a new 4k camera, 4k capture gear and new hardware for rendering. We've also been able to provide more work for the rest of the team which has meant more documentaries are in production. We have an hour long doc on Dishonored coming, along with a feature on the design of Loop Hero and plenty more. Exciting times ahead. Thank you all so much for believing in us. www.patreon.com/noclip

@@Allyouknow5820 I think that's why we do we the work we do. These broad narratives about companies are usually borne from a vacuum of knowledge. PlayStation doesn't have one decision maker - it's a large corporation with different needs and values in it's various departments. So to give voice to a lesser known voice in that conversation is satisfying. Truthfully though, we're also skeptical of assumptions when it comes to people at the top. It's quite easy (and often cathartic) to throw mud at named or nameless "executives" when things like this happen. We wish we could get access to more people in those situations to explain these complex decisions. Was Japan Studio closed, or is this more of a restructuring based on the success of Team Asobi and the more production-support focus of Japan Studios in the past? These are questions we don't have answers to. In the meantime I'd suggest people don't latch on to simple and popular narratives that attempt to explain these things. Quite often they bring us further from the truth. Thanks for watching! :)

Hey Noclip; Is there something like an e-mail where I/we can send suggestions for things to cover? - Or is that more reserved for Patreons and such? I'm sure you already have loads of plans and your work cut out for you, but I have a list with a bunch of very interesting and kind of unusual/overlooked games and projects to cover. Some of which might be challenging to pull off, but I think you would be the perfect channel to do it. Though, some might have to be done sooner than later. If you're open to receiving a message through Instagram or something, I'm up for that too, otherwise perhaps just down here. - It's just my (plausible) wishlist for your consideration.

I loved every minute of it, despite thinking I wouldnt care for it that much. The T-rex boss brought on a flood of childhood memories that were so wonderful to feel. I could still remember playing that demo in awe as I pressed buttons to open the jaw and 'mood walk' the t-rex across the screen. Astro was and is excellent and all PS5 owners must play it! A huge love letter to all things PlayStation, and it was my first PS5 platinum! GREAT game, and I want much, much, much more. Astro needs a game detailing the entire history of Sony itself.

The GPU song has to be my favourite tune in gaming, pure joy, just ahead of the portal glados song

This game made me re-experience emotions I thought I had outgrown, I quite literally could not stop smiling, even the day after I had played it! And the GPU song was firmly but pleasantly stuck in my head :) It is absolutely one of the best games I've ever played, thanks so much to the team for making it, and to Noclip for making this awesome documentary about it!

Nicolas is not only talented, but articulate and warm too. I never asked for Astro's Playroom, but it's brought many more shades of colour to my black and gold existence.
