Astro Boy’s Perfect Reboot
Pluto is a masterful manga reboot that retells the story of Astro Boy through the mind of Naoki Urasawa.

If you want to read Pluto then I highly suggest reading the chapter of Astro Boy "The Greatest Robot On Earth". It's only like 170 pages, and makes Pluto so much more interesting when you compare the two.
If Naoki Urasawa can Reboot Astro Boy into Pluto like so Perfect, than i really wish he can Reboot Pokemon
I didn't read Pluto, I watched it, and I cried so much at North Number 2's death, I couldn't stop myself from crying, this story is so beautiful and meaningful, literally in less than an episode I already felt deeply connected with a character that wasn't even that important to the grand scheme of things at all (he could've died off-screen just like Mont Blanc or that scientist that died at his house and the story would advance the same)
Just watched Pluto this week on Netflix. I was WHOLLY ENGROSSED with the world. I didn't even know it was Astro Boy.
I hope since Naoki Urasawa is a acclaimed mangaka it means people will watch Pluto and hopefully we’ll get a new Astro Boy anime and people will FINALLY give Astro Boy the props it deserves. Astro Boy is so incredibly influential on the anime and manga industry yet so few people have ever actually watched one of the series and only know it by name and by Astro himself. If it wasn’t for Astro Boy, the anime and manga industries would be very, very different.
who's here after watching the Pluto anime?
It's a pity Urasawa doesn't get more recognition. Dude is a living legend, a master storyteller. I hope the anime adaptation of Pluto brings more attention to his work.
Naoki Urasawa is such a wonderful mangaka making some of the greatest manga's in manga history. Def my favorite mangaka
PLUTO definitely my favourite Urasaw work alongside MONSTER, masterful storytelling
i wouldn't say urasawa work boring. i mean every chapter i read in those series bring something new in table. it doesn't change story or completely go into another pace but every chapter is intersting in his work.
When I discovered Monster, I never followed a Manga artist so fervently. Pluto was such a joy since I watched Astroboy as a boy in the late 60s.
My man killed with the pronunciation of "epsilon" lol, otherwise really good video
North 2 story always brought me to tears 😭
The overlap between Atom and Rockman is amazing
while watching this i though "woah wouldn't it be awesome if an anime of this existed?" and then one of the next videos recommended to me was about the pluto anime on netflix, now I'm not even mad that you left us so intrigued and eager to learn more about this beautiful story, great video!
Naoki Urasawa just putting banger after banger like it's nothing. Monster, 20TH Century Boys, Pluto, Happy!, Billy Bat...simply masterful
This video aged like the finest wine, the new Pluto anime is amazing. ❤ Thank you for reintroducing Pluto to a new generation.
The Netflix anime brought me here‼️🔥
That intro is very 20th century boys. Fitting, given Pluto's writer
This video is so funny. Astro boy is amazing and Pluto manga is such a great adaptation
