Yes it is, but it fades off when you lock the car or start the ignition

@@TheMusician65 can you remember where you cut the wire to add it to the courtesy light?. Did you just cut off the usb or did you cut off the ir box for the remote, I'm thinking of doing this next week 👍

@@TheMusician65 iv done this the same way and they turn on and off ok but they don't dim out, do you know why that is? I think the problem might be that I brought the kit with the cig lighter socket and just added a female socket to it so the power has to run through the cig adapter and I'm guessing it needs 12v to power up so when the power starts to dim down it simply cuts the lights off while the courtesy light is still dimming the footwell lights turn straight out. How many wires go into the cig adapter cause iv cut a usb and there's 4 wires that go into that so I would like to understand the way the cig adapter works before cutting it out of the line

How did you wire them to the interior light??

@@TheMusician65 how did you have it wired to the dome light to come on when opening the door but then still have them on while driving aswell? I want to do the same and the way you have it set up looks the best way

@@darrenmicklewright2008 from factory there is a bulb there, so when you open the door that bulb will slowly light up. When you close the door or turn the ignition, the light will fade off. So once you wired the lights to those terminals, you press the button before you drive then switch it off before leaving the car. I just got into the habit of doing that

Even if you left the button on, the car will naturally shit it off after 5mins I think

It’s to the dome light, just attach the wire to the positive and negative
