looks really nice, the whites the best colour in my opinion, ive seen you can get ambient lights for inside the inner door handles, and the pligs are already inside the doors aswell

Hello, How did you change the led on the dash panel? And what type les goes in there? Great job

You used 4 white LEDs in the odometer, now the background color is kind of violet instead of blue but now you got white numbers which increases the readability. In my case, I soldered 4 blue LEDs and now the numbers are not that readable, but the background color is a perfect blue.

What types of smd you had to use? And do you remember how many did you used it? Btw gr8 job keep up the good work 👍

Hey mate did U power the cluster outside the car to watch what is happening? And on which pins u powered . I try to make my cluster with white smd diodes but when I put it back to car they don’t work

looks really nice!! my clocks in my corsa sri are white and everthing else is blue, did you have too solder the lights in?

Thanks! Yes I had to disassemble each part, get to the circuit board and desolder original leds and solder the white replacements

You mean the backseat lights? I bought all interior LEDs from LED Mafia on ebay (german seller) which I'd recommend since they're pure white. I had bought several other brands, including one very similar from a US seller that ended up being blueish white. However I bought a Kit which included the exact number of replacement bulbs and no spares, one of them was faulty and now I'm missing one on the backseat, so make sure to buy a couple spares. The same type of bulbs for the backseat can be used on your headlamp parking lights and license plate. Greetings!

What bulbs?

Did you need too use smaller ones for the window switches, headlight switch and steering wheel controls or is it the same ones as the dash

The kit provided me with some smaller ones to match the original size of the SMDs for some parts, however the one for the steering wheel controls, which were supposed to be the smallest ones, were instead the larger square like the dashboard. I was able to fit them in, but it was very tricky

This job is harder than it looks unless your really good with a solder iron. The leds are really small. Iv nearly finished mine in blue but not 100% of them light up on the radio and I'm attempting the screen 2moz but need them all to work so if anyone has got any advice it would be appreciated 👍

Hi, Ardilla Mapache where are you from? from your name I believe I could help you in spanish hehe. Anyway, yes, there are several types of SMD on each part. But you dont have to use the exact same model, you can even use different sizes on some instruments, but others (like A/C controls for example) are very compact and must use the same (or a very similar sized smd). What I can assure you is that for the Most part, I used PLCC-2 and 1206 SMDs. Thanks for your comment!

Ardilla Mapache Ahh pues yo también soy de Mexico mi buen, y también desde hacía mucho tiempo tenía ganas de hacer el cambio de color! Si tienes problemas para conseguir los SMD te puedo pasar el contacto del vendedor, aunque es tardado y necesitarías tener cuenta en eBay. La verdad yo tardé mas en conseguir los smds que en hacer el cambio jaja. Saludos!

Ardilla Mapache Te recomiendo a este vendedor: blauertacho4u.de los encuentras ahí en ebay y también tiene pagina en facebook, son alemanes, y la verdad es que tuve que usar mucho google translate para poderme comunicar pero consegui los leds a muy buen precio y de muy buena calidad. Saludos y cuando te avientes el trabajo me comentas!

Hello Martynas Venckus yes, you can do it in other colors; I've seen that a lot of people go for blue and red mostly, but you can do it in any color you can find the SMDs. It does takes time and patience to remove each part and disasemble and even more time and care to replace the SMDs, specially the smallest ones since they're very delicate. I had never done this procedure and burnt many leds while doing this. If you decide to do this I can help you out! Thnx for your comment

Martynas Venckus I can assure you that if you're careful (and get enough spare smds) you'll be able to do it. I was also doubtful because I had Never replaced SMDs and honestly, I was close to ruin a couple of instruments. I wanted to do this for several years and finally decided to do it, and Im glad I did! I really love the new look. If you have any doubt I'll be glad to help you out
