The points he's saved for Villa this season because he's a great shot stopper, immense in 1 on 1's, plays the sweeper keeper perfectly and is absolutely brilliant with his feet. Probably yes, but that actually makes sense. You already mark down the game as win/draw/loss based on the 120 minute result regardless of what happens in the shootout, and any goals people score in a shootout do not count towards their statistical goal tally. So we're already considering shootouts as a separate entity from the regular match, so separating cards from it would be in line with that as well.

no, cause Zidane was sent off before the penalty shootout, it's not the same case. In the penalty shootout, yellow cards from the previous times are not counted. I think it's pretty easy to understand.
