Douglas Luiz should be ashamed of himself...he was not tracking back, walking around, not closing down, loose passing, pulling out of tackles, booked again and spending all his time complaining and throwing his arms in the air. We have looked a better team without him and he should not start. Cash in on him end of season.

Injuries to Martinez and Tielemans played major part not winning against Chelsea.

Chelsea have our number, they dominated us in FA cup, this was pretty similar. Hopefully we change our approach to Chelsea next season

2-0 up and again we throw it away and were very lucky not to lose the game in the end. Honestly such a frustrating night! Fair play to Olsen when he came on, thought he was brilliant and in the end won us the point.

Luke,I did comment earlier in the week to be very wary of Chelsea. They're full of talent. We lack 3 or 4 quality players to make this team produce consistent performances. Rogers another goal. Looks to be a bargain purchase.

Disgusting 2nd half performance. One of the worst 45 minutes of the season. I was expecting Chelsea to have a go in the 2nd half and we would try to pick them off on the counter but we had zero control, didn't even attempt to go forward. Fans love a scapegoat. Olsen came in in Jan 22 I believe. Emery arrived in Oct 22. Clearly he's not the sweeper/keeper type player Emery needs in his set up and it's why Emi is so valuable. Hopefully he's not seriously injured, as he controls the tempo and begins the attack. Olsen can't do that. Simple. We signed the Australian lad, and presumably he'll become number 2 next year and Olsen will move on. Part of the long term progression.

Dougie has been off the pace for a while now. Since December he hasn't looked the same player as he did last year. Not blaming him at all, just think he's probably out on his feet. Tim needs to be played more! We're need to rotate our midfield far more next season, including playing McGinn and Telemanns in that double pivot from time to time. UTV! We can still get over the line. Phenomenal season! Still think we have it in us to make the Champions League and to win the Europa Conference! I agree, Spurs won't take 7 plus what we get out of their next 6 games. They are not consistent enough, and Arsenal could spank them tomorrow. UTV.

The key learning for the team is that when it's 2-0 in the game the next goal is the most important. And to go with renewed vigour, not sit back and invite the inevitable. In Unai we trust. UTV

agree with you. This is a valuable point gained and its better to have points in the bag than trying to get them. As emery said first step gained qualifying for europa. next step champions league and we are in prime position. But we have the bare bones of a squad with all these injuries and the disruption it has caused. It's going to be tough, but let's keep the faith and get behind the team on Thursday night UTV

Looking at the bigger picture, a great point. We’ve secured 5th at least with still a chance for 4th. Chelsea were really on it. A very good side who played like they were fighting for the title. With our fixtures and injuries we’re relying on other teams now, starting with Arsenal on Sunday and then Chelsea on Thursday! I’d be happy to see Douglas-Luiz go this summer, for the right price of course.

We were miles off the pace. We couldn't deal with Chelsea's high press. Injuries to Martinez and Tillmans didn't help. Take the point and move on.

Man had to watch till 2:30 Am as match started at 12:30 Am here. We didn't impose us in the 2nd half in the match. We didn't gain control. But you know we didn't lost and got a point here on the way of champions league qualification and only 3 games to we need to try to be patient and gain control. Hope tilemans and martinez is not injured for long time. And spurs need some city type gameplan because their run of games are very hard. UTV 💜💙

We were played off the pitch in the second half. We were holding on for dear life once Chelsea equalised. I just hope we have enough in the tank. I've never wanted to see arsenal win a game as much. Similar to the west ham game in the sense that we take the point and move on.

To sloppy and casual today. We weren't switched on and to many didn’t rock up. Mate Luiz has been off last couple of months. Has a habit of coughing up the ball and making a mistake and we concede and loose momentum happen a few times.

Bringing Dougie straight back in was a mistake after winning the previous 2 games without him. He lacked the energy needed in midfield to compete with Conor Gallagher, he can be too casual in dangerous areas and his passing was sloppy at times. Easy to say in hindsight i know but the balance did not look right yesterday and it ended up costing us.

I was at V park against Bournemouth last week and was hopeful during the first half that the momentum of that game was still present, but it was like a different team came out during the second half. Consistency, consistency is part of what makes top teams top teams. So, on Thursday... which Villa will be playing?

Certainly not the best result but not the worst either. Injuries and fixture list are now beginning to take their toll. It seems that we have to expect the odd poor performance with the odd exceptional one. If that gets us over the line I’ll be very happy. Chelsea have turned their season around and apart from the Arsenal result have been one of the form teams so a point isn’t the worst thing in the world. Need to fix the defence in the summer though.
