Isn't there hyperinflation in asthma on x-ray? I have been taught that you count the number of ribs from the 2nd rib and if the number of ribs fitting in the lung fields are more than 7 or 8 then this means that lungs are hyperinflated and that can be your radiological sign for asthma?

Could someone explain to me why blacks are affected MORE by Asthma than other races? I was just curious about this but there isn't much information.

May be the poverty some people live in, the areas being polluted and that they may be afraid to get diagnosed or even acknowledge their own concerns within themselves causing them to avoid asking for help or to avoid getting treatment.

I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else needs to find out about asthma information try Knewreck Asthma Eradicator Guide (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my neighbor got amazing results with it.

I have spent months researching reducing asthma at home and discovered an awesome website at Laken Chest Remedy (google it if you're interested)
